They also claimed to be from the State of Michigan. I highly doubt that is true. My mother is retired from the State of Michigan, and I am sure they had that information. If they are not from the State of Michigan, and or contracted by the State, that is considered fraud. However, unfortunately for them I person who answered the phone when she called. I will make every effort to report them and continue to investigate this call. This line of business is deceptive, and they prey on vulnerable seniors.
A person representing this company called my 83-year-old mother and when she questioned why they wanted her medical record number, the woman on the phone told her to "Go to***** with the information you have." This is unacceptable and I think harassing our vulnerable senior population with these calls is disgusting.
