They call me everyday, sometimes more than once. I am already on the do not call list

It's a scam caller ID by Chase that calls to trick you into answering your phone when you fall behind. I called them back from another number, which gave the 866 -544-4880 callback number so I called it. Initial answer is the Chase legal department disclaimer: "This call will be recorded or monitored for *quality* purposes. When the caller ID TO them mismatches, which mine will as I call form a trunk line system, they got f****ered and s****ed with "Can I please put you on hold as I'm having problems with my system" canned response. When they came back, they asked what number did we call you on? I say the number on your computer screen. They then replay we have no record of this number, they slipped up and asked what CC account am I behind on.S***bags.

also, the people selling magazines are a NATIONAL campagne.  There is also a state campagne (this is Medallion, or Heritage) & usually a local level.

Ok, The National & state dnc lists do not apply to charities.  when they call you (& they will) ASK TO BE TAKEN OFF THE LIST! done! stay on the line to have the coach verify it & bam! you're off the list. simple, right? Dont be rude to the representatives.  They hear it 8 hours a day when all they're trying to do is pay rent. Most of them are high school aged kids or older people that cant work anywhere else.  Give them a break! You have a job, right?  you do your job, right?  thats all they're trying to do.

Daily calls from 313-768-3264. ID displays "Special Olympic" (not OlympicS). This is a landline based in Detroit, MI. It IS a telemarketer. Even if your number is registered with DoNotCall.gov, these calls get through because they are probably claiming they are a charity, or because it's too close to a real charity with the same name. Keep filing complaints and point out the difference in the name - Olympic NOT Olympics"Global Crossing Local Services" (listed above) is just the name of the phone company that provides phone service, and not responsible for the calls.

ID: Special Olympics. Calls almost daily. Left 1 msg - telemarketer.

I called Special Olympics about this number.  I wanted to make sure that the people trying to sell magazines are actually working with Special Olympics.  The person that I spoke with said yes.  I informed her that the **** up calls and continuous calling after being asked not to is annoying and making them look bad.  It looks to me as a way of abusing the do no call registry--posing as a charity and then selling magazines.

This number calls us constantly so we will certainly NOT contribute!

I'm on the do not call list but they continue to call. I lost count how many times so far. What good is the list if it's not enforced. Apparantly I'm far from the only one being harrassed. Where's the government when you need them? Is somebody not doing they're job? Could somebody be recieving kickbacks?Doesn't the special olympics care, this isn't helping they're cause or can they even do anything about it either? Are they involved? Notice caller id does not plural olympic. I'd like to know who carries this phone service and if they are aware. Just giving this ID to other than official special olympics is enough to make me want to boycott that service for they're part.

Just recieved a call at 9:38 a.m. requesting I call 866/544-4880.  I called to b***h.  "Please call within normal business hours."

Researched this more...According to this website: http://tnid.org/lookup/3137683264/It's owned by : Global Crossing Local Services Inc.. who's website is:http://www.globalcrossing.com/... and their contact page is...http://www.globalcrossing.com/company/company_contact_us.aspxI called the slamming phone number, and asked about this phone number, and they claimed it is one of their customers.  She suggested I and an email so Security ( [email protected] ), which is listed on this same page.  They have so many days to respond to the complaint, before they pull their plug.  I did send an email asked them to Global Crossing to block my number from this customer.

Called the 866 #, and they kindly put my number on the do not call list.  But the gal didn't know anything about the 313 #.  I hope the calls stop.

Called back the 313-768-3264 which had a recording identifying them as Special Olympics and to call 866-544-4880 for further inquires.  I called 866 number, asked why they keep calling and ****ing up; rep apologized and s****ed to sell - not answering the questions.  I asked the question a***n, they still did not answering the question, but the rep after a couple of iterations apologized a***n and offered to put our number on their do-not-call lists.  Got his name and asked which company he worked for and he did say Special Olympics.   Will see if this works...

These people call almost everyday.They even called today and it's Sat. I do not answer,but I am getting tired of these calls.

They are calling constantly, everyday, twice a day or more  for weeks now. I do not answer the phone.  They do not leave a message.  Caller ID says Special Olympics.

Fund raiser

Every day I come home and there is a call from these people. Last night they called me at 8:15 p.m. They even call on Sa****ay. I am on the DNC list but I believe they are a charity and have the right to call but take a hint people.

They've called our number for weeks, never leaving a message so just now when they called I answered and they ***g up! ARGH!!!

for the past couple weeks, they've been calling everyday.  hadn't been answering, but did today and told them never to call here a***n.  due to the volume of calls received, i believe this to be a scam.  don't give these people a dime.

This people never give up! They have called me like 25 times after Ive said no to them. Im reporting them on the do not call website so they will get a fine.

Suppose to be from Special Olympics wanting a donation. You tell them to take you off the list & they keep calling back every day!

I hate these people. They have called EVERYDAY (sometimes twice) for a few weeks now. As a previous poster mentioned, they never leave a message.
