This is part of marketing the DTE (formerly Detroit Edison) Home Protection Plan, that covers appliance repairs, etc. A neighbor told me that they switched her from her existing program (offered by Consumers Power [the competing gas/electricity provider]) after talking with her, even though she said she wasn't interested in c****ing.

What good is the DNC list?? These ****s keep calling, no message?? I am ready to cancel my home phone service because of **** like this!
I found this message at another website - "dte appliance repair sales call to sign up for their service." I'm not sure that is correct. I answered when they called my house. They asked for my husband, and when I stated he wasn't home, they just said "okay" and ***g up.
