NOT A SCAM. You can call Cigna number on the back of your card - but its legit as I just went to refill a prescription today with provider and then I now have them calling me to talk about the prescription we were having filled.
Cigna Health, verifying my DOB and zip code. Then asked us to get home delivery on a medication. We said no, but were genuine and were able to help on some other medication details. Thought it was a scam but wasnt.
They said something about my unpaid taxes (I don't have any unpaid taxes) and the government was waiving them, but I needed to call this company for help in securing the waiver. I stopped listing to the message and deleted it.
2nd call in 2 months. Robocall stating Cigna Health and had some important information about my prescription drug benefits... press a number or call back later... blah blah blah. I pressed the number (already suspicious) intending to tell them to take me off their marketing list when I get a person who wanted my birthday and zip code. Hung up at that point. No Way! This is DEFINITELY A SCAM.
Trues to make you say yes
Claims to be Cigna insurance, but then asks for personal information.
Said Cigna Benefits or something, talked to a person they wanted me to give them my zip code and birthday. I told them they called me no way I'm giving out any information over the phone and hung up.
I have Cigna. - The robot claims to be Cigna calling for (your first and last name). Then asks you to confirm if you are (your first and last name) by saying yes or clicking 1. I clicked 1, and then it asked me to press another number to talk to a representative about prescription drug benefits or it gave me another number to call back - red flags went off in my head so I hung up.
Improved prescription drug benefits
sketchy IVR of their
Read what caller Said
To accept, press 1. To go to voicemail, press 2. So I press 1 to learn what is all about and then it gave me a random number. Not sure what is all about but I have Cigna insurance.
They claimed they were from CIGNA calling about prescription drug coverage options.
Claimed I won a prize from PCH
They are with express scripts and seem legit
It's a scam. Ignore and block
Wanted info
cals says its from CIGNA about prescription benefits
Cigna calling about prescription benefits. I don't have Cigna insurance, but they just keep calling my mobile phone, 9 times so far. They might be looking for previous owner of my mobile # - I still get calls for him, even after having this number for 22+ years. Sheesh.
They called saying they were from Cigna, and that they wanted to offer to switch me to 90 day supply with home delivery. I called Cigna back through their verified phone number on the website, and they did verify that the call was legitimate.
Wanted my birthdate and SSN to update their records! Scam!
Said that Cigna Insurance could help with prescription coverage.
Said they were Cigna. They are not.
About med prescription plan saving money and asked date of birth and zopcode
Number they called from: 866-687-9719 Number they said to call: 314-888-6257 Said they were Cigna? calling about savings on testing and medical procedures? I called Cigna, they are spoofing the cigna number that they call from and then having you call back a non cigna number.
Caller is NOT a spammer. It is Cigna health insurance company wanting you to sign up for home delivery of prescription meds or use a local, preferred provider. Only asked for my name, address, DOB, but couldn't find until I gave them the phone number the message came from...which was odd. May be an outsource call provider for Cigna.
Something about Cigna prescription benefits, asking to call back 866-687-9719. I do have pharmacy insurance from Cigna. Might be legit.

Just enough information (e.g. name) to make you think that they're legitimate, then when you call them back they try to get you to provide them with private information. Likely a scam.
recorded voice call from Cigna. I hung up and then called back. The person who answered wanted to know my name an SSN.
This is truly Cigna, yes it's scary that they ask for personal information and I had to look it up. However, based on the fact that I told her I would check it out and she didn't hang up, I took the insane plunge and gave her the info and she told me exactly what meds I was taking and whether or not I wanted them to ship them to me, I said "No" and that was all.
ROBO CALL. They called. Hung up. No message.

They did not leave a message. I have Cigna insurance so it could have been about mail-order prescriptions as mentioned in other comments. They keep sending me emails about it - not interested!

Spam for sure. Said prescription drugs.
Call Came thru as my insurance provider and then waited for rep to ask me my name which they should have if they are my insurance provider and then they didn't answer me. Then the rep asked me to confirm my info and I asked why as if they were who they said they were they would have my info already And they hung up on me.
