This is the "Senior Account Manager" (David Watson) contact number given out by "Jordan" at 202-621-0369 who called to inform me that I had been randomly selected as a good citizen of the U. S. to receive a one-time grant of $9,000 from the U. S. Government. When I got the call from the 202#, I played along, knowing it had to be a scam, but I wanted to see how far the scam went and what amount they were going to require to receive my "grant." I was given three options: EFT deposit to my bank account; EFT deposit onto one of my own existing credit cards; or, Wire Transfer to a retail outlet. I chose wire transfer, of course, to Walmart. Finally, David did explain that I would need to call him from Walmart and he would tell me how to complete the TWO wire transfer forms. One was to send $211.00 to the "Federal Reserve Bank of New York" to register my name with their bank to send the money; and the other was to receive the transfer in cash. (Walmart's ****mum on wire transfers is $2,000, I think.) That was the point at which I chose to call their bluff and end the call, explaining to David that I would be reporting their names and numbers to the authorities for fraud.
