Yeah I keep getting the calls everyday. They told me that if i don't have my retaining attorney or myself to call them that they only wish me good luck in life because when all my problems fall down around me my life is going to **** (essentially). I must say i can't get them to stop calling me. I told them politely one day that I don't know who you are I don't have business with you. I don't have any bills in default. Anyone that has my personal information should also be able to contact me by email or official contact information. And asked for him/her to take my name off of their calling list. I'm still getting calls that seem to be escalating by them. I want to find this company or w***ver they represent and get them out of my phone. My life is not the one to be disrupted by this s**t right now.

I just received a threatening call on my work number stating that my information was going to be downloaded and if I didn't take care of the matter that it would be very bad for me. The person that called could hardly speak english and he laughed when leaving the message. The company was a Credit Bureau of Investigation. This happen to me about a month or two ago and when I threatened to report them they stop calling. Now the calls are s****ing back up.

I rceived several messages from a person by the name of Elford Smith. He called my job & my cell#. He says I owe for a cash advance loan I never took. He was yelling on the phone and threatening with legal proceedings. I asked for evidence and he refused to give it to me. He said he also has my social security number, home address etc.

I also recieved a message and a call today from Robin McGee telling me the exact same thing however I am in the military so the payday loan company they were "representing", was no way****ociated with me or my family it is illegal for me to even request a payday loan. However I told them they were wrong and if they felt like sueing me to go ahead I would just turn around and sue the pants of their company. Their whole tune c****ed then oh i'm sorry I'll fix this immediately and what not. I am still going to contact the FBI because they have quite a bit of information about me and that is so****ing I am not comfortable with. I appreciate you posting info like this so that I know for sure that I am trying to be scammed!!!!! Thanks

I was contacted today (1/28/11) by a Robin McGee.  He told me that I owed a company money, but would not give me the name of the company he said I owed money to, the amount I supposedly owed, or the telephone number of the company filing the complaint.  He said he was from a company by the name of Bureau of Credit Investigations and gave me a phone number of 315-496-1453.  He claimed they were the "back office of a law firm".  They had sent my information to court and someone would soon serve me a warrant.  All he could do is "wish me good luck."

I received a call from the number you listed as well.  Spoke to a man calling himself Troy.  He was nice but the threat was still the same.  I actually s****ed making payments to him because I wasn't sure if my x husband did so****ing that was haunting me.  A***n, it is part of the same Indian/Nigerian scam.  I did get my money back!

They just called me at work at 1:00 today (1/7/11)  I told the woman who threatened me with Jail that I know this is a scam and I have already notified local, state & federal authorities.  I told her to give me a phone number and I will have the FBI call her back.  She provided 315-982-6***.  I waited awhile and called back and they answered the phone as LLC Law Office.  This is now the third phone number for this company I have on file.  This is part of a scam per US Homeland Security.  File a complaint this your local police, FTC, FCC, Attorney General's Office and Homeland Security.  Advise them this is regarding a scam and they will take the complaints.  They are aware.  Homeland Security got involved for me because I actually lost over $1,000 because they threatened not only jail but calling my employer which I cannot have.  DO NOT PAY THEM ANY MONEY.  If you make a payment you are in for a world of***** because they passed my phone number around and in one week I received 13 identical threatening calls.  Almost like they were reading from a script.  They probably were all in the same room laughing.  This was featured on Entertainment Tonight about a month ago.  If you go on their website you can see these people are scammers.  I am in the process of talking to an attorney to see if we can sue the phone companies that are providing the phone service to people to commit crimes.  At least in my case, 4 of the 13 phone numbers that have called me the service has been provided by Verizon. This is from Cayuga, New York.  I have emailed the village of Cayuga to find out which police department covers this area and will be contacting them to file a complaint also.  I encourage everyone else to do the same.  I've also found out that the land line carrier is a company called "Level 3 Communication" and I've sent them an email, telling them about what is going on with this line and I've also told them that I plan to get the police involved.

This is yet another scam company out of New York.  When they call you, the number is 052-312-293, which isn't even 10 digits long.  If you try calling that number, a recording will come up telling you that the call can't be completed.  They leave me messages and I can understand about 1 out of every 10 words.  All I've been able to find out is that it is a land line out of Monrovia, New York.

This caller claims to be from Legal account****ociation - backroom of a law firm and has a lot of information on me and is threatening me with calling my employer and other stuff.  Has anyone else had this happen?  How do I get it stopped?  They will not tell me who I owe.
