Call from this number (315-580-3263) came in on a POLICE complaint line from a "southern" sounding male asking inappropriate questions of a police agency. Have only received it once that I am aware of but would like calls like this to stop - especially when they are calling an emergency line.
We received a call today from a male with a foreign accent. My wife could not understand him and she ***g up on him.
315-580-3263 is part of a phone scam. They have called my elderly mother telling her she has won 2.5 million and she need to except an express package. BUT 1st she must give them $250.They have called repeatedly... I listened in while she was on the phone. Sometimes it's a male and sometimes a female calling. They always have a foreign accent (which is the first clue that the call is a scam).
Called me 10 times in a row this morning, I was trying to sleep because i work nights. ***!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guess the phone scams are s****ing up a***n.Most likely using a fake number to show up on your caller id. I used *69 (didn't have my caller id plugged in at the time). Gave me a number for someplace in Oneida County in NY. But, I doubt that's the actual number that called.Go to the FCC website, and fill out a report on it. Then, go to the Attorney General's Office website for your state, or call your AG's office, and tell them about it as well. Also, if you see it on your caller ID, let the phone stop ringing. After it stops, then you can pick it up, and dial *57. If it actually is coming from your area, that will trace the call (but, it won't tell you where it's coming from). If they call a few times, you might be able to claim harassment, and go to the police (letting them know that you did *57 to trace it). They might not be able to get to it right away, but if this is all s****ing up a***n, then the police and other offices will be getting more than enough complaints about it to make them do so****ing more drastic to stop it. Also, if you do *57 trace, let the FCC know. They might not, but they may ask for permission to get to your phone records to see whether the trace was able to work or not. When they called me, I got an autodialer telling me it was from "Account Services", saying I needed to speak to someone about my credit cards. Considering I don't have any credit cards, and I've seen on other sites where live people called wanting to talk to people about their copier ma****es, I think it's a safe bet that it's just some losers thinking that they're going to get people to give them money. After all the **** everyone went through last year because of this garbage, these people must be ***in dead to think anyone's going to give them a freaking thing.
Just another phone scam s****ing up. When they called me today, I had an autodialer tell me it was from "Account Services", saying that I needed to talk to someone about my credit cards. Guess they didn't learn, after the multiple times I told idiots like this last year, that I don't have any credit cards to begin with.If you're in the same area code, and you get this, **** up, and dial *57 (or, if you see it on caller ID, wait until they stop ringing, then pick up the phone and do *57). If the call actually came from your area, *57 will trace it back to the originating phone these *****s are using - BUT, it's probably a fake number that they're using to show up on the Caller ID. In any case, though, it's a good idea to try, because someone local might actually be ****** enough to think that pulling this garbage is a good idea.Don't bother calling the number back. You'll most likely just get nothing but ringing, or a recording saying that the voice mail is full. Probably not safe, anyway, since if it is the real number, people calling them back might be how they're getting fake numbers to use. And if it is a fake number, then you're just filling up the voice mail of the actual owner of it, and that person would be totally innocent.Where ever they are from, after all the **** everyone had to go through last year from these idiots trying to scam us, they must be more than a few marbles short if they think anyone is going to give them anything now.
Call from this number has came through twice so far. When I return the call it just rings and rings
This number has come through several times but ****s up just before the answering ma****e picks up. Called back but no answer, no voice mail.
Just rang when I called back.
