i got a call from this number 315 604 3650 stating that i owed money to cash advance usa i just looked up the number its a new york number and he said he was from chicago he said his name was charlie brown yeah he actually said his name was charlie brown and then i spoke with a man named peter jones they both had very strong middle eastern accents i found out about this scam through google

same as above. debt collector that is willing to say whatever and lie. I advise everyone to record all conversations with these people and report them. What they are doing is illegal and they refuse to provide proof of the debt that's owed. I can't even tell if they really are debt collectors or just scam artist. Even if they are legit debt collectors the way they do business is not and they will never get 1 penny from me.

My daughter keeps getting harassing phone calls from this number saying that they are a Senior Attorney for the court house in Chicago, IL. He repeatedly states that he is trying to collect money for his client which is $1100.00, or she can just pay $170.00 to clear the amount from the books and that it would be stated in affidavit. Will not say who he is representing or what the money is supposed to be paying for. He goes by two names: Paul Smith (Legal Acct****oc.) and Ross Taylor (Sr. Attorney) She keeps requesting do***entation in writing sent to the address that they have on file and they say they can't do that unless she "verifies" her ss#. Then they threaten to have the police come to her house and take her away in handcuffs............pathetic and cruel! the other number they call from is 646-504-2448
