I didn't answer. They promptly called back, 5 calls in a row with barely a few secs in between. My guess is that someone may think 'hmmm, they keep calling trying to get me...it MUST be urgent' and pick up...don't fall for it!! They did not leave a message. 6 tries / I ignored all 6 /No msg left And to double ck, i called BOA from another ph to ck my 1 acct, all good This # is a scam....

Definite fraud - don't fall for it and just block the number. Claims to be from Bank of America stating fraud from gun purchases, don't engage at all and just **** up

My card was used for gun purchases and report me to Homeland Security if I don’t report to Columbus Georgia Police department right away.

Claimed to be from Bank of America and that my credit card was used to purchase guns. Told me they were going to report the incident to Homeland Security. When I didn’t seem particularly worried she ***g up.

Someone tried to buy a gun on the website while citing a boa card number that I didn't create.After that, he said he needed an urgent police report and connected me to the police, made me video conference on Skype, and monitored me for 36 hours. He showed me a picture and name of a ****ese person and said so****ing ******** like Interpol was coming for arrest me f**ker

Tried to give me phone number

Like the others. Received this call from this phone stating my CC/DB CARD was declined for purchasing 7 guns...in Columbus, GA never been to GA supervisor claims this CC/DEBIT CARD was opened in person at their Columbus, GA location this is a FRAUD/SCAMMER CALL

Indian accent woman has my name and claiming I opened BoA credit card with credit card #. I told I never deal with BoA in my life. She keep asking me if my name is *****. I didn't wanna answer and she kept trying to make me answer and she just **** up on me. I searched no. and I actually found the no belong to BoA. Now ppl can steal phone no. too ?

They told me they had an important thing to discuss about my BofA platinum card. I have a BofA card but it isn’t the platinum card. He asked me if I had time to talk, I said no, he asked when would be a good time, I said between 10AM-12PM the next day. The next day, he called at 11AM but I didn’t pick up the call.

Pretending to be the bank i have no account with bank of America

Supposedly my credit card was used yo buy guns. Except I don't have any dealing with Bank of America. They called few times and they were even able to show on display number from Bank of America

Man with a heavy accent said my BofA platinum visa was declined an hour ago. I said I don’t have a BofA Visa to which he said it was opened at a ***nch in GA on 7/30/2024 to which I said I haven’t been to GA in 20 years. He mentioned calling homeland security and I said to go ahead. Then I ***g up.

An online person gave me this number to check his bank balance.

He had a thick Indian accent. He knew my full name and said my account was put on hold because a huge transaction was made on Amazon.com. I told him to go to***** and ***g up. The number is actually listed behind my debit card as an international collect call. I called BOA and the****ured me that they don’t see any such thing on my account and all is good.

He said there is a large charge on my bank account.

Person on the call said if I tried to open a checking account yes****ay. I told her I did not, she asked me if I knew Jostin Garcia because he is requesting two pending zelle transactions from me.

Got the same BOA and Zelle call.

Oliver Smith claimed they had recvd a request to set up a business checking account yes****ay on line in my name and he had my correct address. He called on my unlisted number. Claimed they had sent and recvd back from my number a verification code to authenticate the request yes****ay.

S****er, they were trying to verify my address to ‘replace’ my card. Threatened to call the police on my husband lol.

He said I had 2 pending transactions from my Zelle and asked if I had knowledge of them, I said no, he even said one of them was going to a MR. Cortez, They did have my correct email and ss and phone number But I became su****ious and got off of the phone, Thankfully I googled the phone number and zelle boa scam and saw that it was probably a scam

Caller said someone opened a Zelle account under my name and phone number and sent $3000 to [name of a person I actually know]. They said the transactions were pending and that I needed to cancel them. Then they asked to log in to my Zelle app and let them know when i had done so. I ***g up and they called repeatedly until I blocked the number.

They said an account was opened in my name at BOA and someone was transferring $$ through Zelle. Do not give your personal information!

Called saying they were from Bank of America fraud dept. attempted to get into my account, transfer money to a Evernette Michaud at 786-765-9307 in Miami. This is a SCAM!

The caller claimed a new Bank of America account was opened online and I needed to verify if Zelle transactions were made in Miami and instructed to call a phone number. This happened to me twice from different numbers, Hispanic male both times, same story but from different numbers. The number I was told to call was the same. I called the bank and they said this was not from Bank of America.

They said I came in second in a mega million lottery and money was in. Bank of America account and gave me this number to confirm. I did not call. They wanted me to go to Walmart or CVS or Dollar General and get a $500 Money Pack Green Dot card. Once I gave them the number they would deliver my $17 million. In cash…. Yeah right They want me to call them back when I have the card.

They said that a banking account and credit cards had been opened in my name using my SS and they were following up to see if it was fraudulent or not. I said Yes that's not me, then they gave me my conf numbers and a Zelle phone number to contact. Very odd. I did NOT call that phone number, I called my bank's 1800 number instead.

Trying to advise my phone number was connected to a new checking account and I would be liable.

Indian man said someone opened an account in my name with my SS# and made 2 Zelle transactions of $1,000 each. When I asked what name, number and social was used, he told me to call Zelle to cancel the transactions. I ***g up on him and he called back repeatedly until I blocked the number. Very scary scam, sounds very realistic. I hate scammers!!

Fake Bk of Am caller. Claimed Zell account opened in my name. Called actual boa # and was told it was ********.

Claimed to be Bank of America, and that someone opened up an account under my name and tried to send two Zelle transactions. Said they would close this account, but I have to call a "Zelle" phone number that they gave me to cancel the transactions with the "confirmation number" they gave me. (BOA00349000). Fairly sophisticated scam - phone number is 1 digit off the actual BofA #.

I dont have a BOA account so everything this Indian man said sounded crazy

It was in Spanish supposedly from BoA saying someone opened an account yes****ay in my name and asked if it was me, which I said no. That account made 2 Zelle transactions and I had to call Zelle support to cancel them anyways. They gave me the numbers of the transactions I had to give to Zelle support and Zelle support's number. When I said I had to verify that phone number, they ***g up.

Russian sounding woman says she is from Bank of America then passed to a Zelle Fraud Dept. with a guy named Alex. They ***g up on my twice but called back. Told me I had to get online with my Zelle and then enter some verification codes only he could give me by phone. Total fraud as I don't have Bank of America and haven't used Zelle in years. A***n, not sure how they got my cell phone number but they are persistent.

I had someone use as if it was their own banking account information. Wanted me to call and verify with this number and supposed last four numbers of his SS#. To tell me some ridiculous sums of money in an account.

This may be an actual CC company phone number but they stole it because CREDIT CARD COMPANIES NEVER CALL! Nothing but Indian scammers calling. And when I told him to stop calling my house, he called me a f**king c**t. Seriously. Credit card companies don’t call and ask for information. They’re getting into legitimate cc company numbers and scamming people. Don’t tell them anything.

I recommend to just call the number banks of America provides in the back of every debit/credit card they give you and call them. I called my bank and they told me that everything was fine and to ignore the call it might be fraud.

Bank of America Call Center in Utica New York, The reason for them calling are endless, more popular reasons could be, Unauthorized Card Use, Deliquent Account, Account in Negative, Account Closed, Advising any adverse action towards you or your account. But it is Truly a B of A Number, Although I would, to be sure, Just **** up and Dial back the number on the back of your Debit or Credit Card, incase someone is using a Call Number ID scam, (c****ing the display number of a said phone so it displays lets say 315-724-4022, to give the none the wiser person being called the false sense of security there being called by B of A. which is easy enough to do with VoIP lines. and is being done more than you would think. Always Call back anyone stating to be a business or number to where you would need to give sensitive information out. Dev VoIP Provider Metric Infinity Consulting..

It is BofA. They left a message indicating that my debit card was compromised and a new card would be issued to me via mail. I had already received in the mail a letter indicating the same thing.

This is a real BofA number. They might be calling for different purposes like to see if your numbers are current or for unauthorized purchases. That is what I was called for and sure enough i did have one. Sometimes they will call of they have reason to believe it's an unauthorized charge and sometimes it's not. That has also happened to me. Either way it is a legit number

This telephone number called me shortly after I had i***vertently locked out my ATM/Debit Card.  This is Bank of America's automated calling system to notify you that your accounts have been frozen and to call customer service.  I called the telephone number I had previously stored in my phone to return the call and re-establish use of my account.  This phone number is not a fraud or scam but a notification of some type of fraud detected with your bank account.  Take it seriously and call the number listed on the back of you card or contact your local ***nch office.

Folks,this is a legit BOFA no. but someone hacks this line and calls you up early in the morning. Everything is planned and seems real..right from the voice message to the professional talk of the caller. I got a call this morning and the lady seemed so genuine. Luckily for me, i got saved coz I called back BOFA to confirm if they had  called me and whether there was any fraudulent activity on my card. Sadly, I gave them my debit card no. i have got it locked by the real BOFA now and will soon get a new one.Please dont be fooled! Stay alert!
