I am a very important person and I want to take the time to inform you before i need to make further actions. Your employee by the name of Lashonda Johnson of fayetteville nc ecowater was a very ***** person. I do not except any disrespect from a company that is suppose to be dignified. i will continue to update this company and decide if I will need to take further actions upon ecowater and your employee.

I got a blue sticker stuck to the front of my door that said I missed a package; I was sitting right on the couch & could see the guy. No knock or anything. Had a cigarette in his mouth; Gross. Anyway, I'm glad I didn't call the number. I'll have to warn everyone in our neighborhood; We all got one!

We actually got ahold of the "company" and let them come out to test our water just because we were available and wanted the "complimentary gift card." Well, they came out and then instead of leaving us the gift card, they gave us a post card to mail in within a certain amount of time. That would be the verification of them having been to our home and they would supposedly mail our gift card once that was recieved. Well, a couple weeks later that postcard was returned with a sticker on the front indicating that that person has moved and left no forwarding address...interesting. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE!

These people left a gift package delivery notice sticker on my front door when I was home. They never knocked or rang the doorbell. The sticker stated that we needed to call their office to get the info to get our gift package. There was no indication of who left the notice except for a couple tiny words in the bottom corner that said Just Water, LLC. When I looked this up online I found a lot of complaints about this company. Don't call them back!

Fayetteville NC. Caller claimed we had won a $500 gift certificate for a grocery store of our choice. Would not come to test our water unless both of us were present. Asked for details of what time we were home, directions to the house etc. After getting su****ious, tried to call them back, phone # did not work. Searched for them online and found these complaints. Thank You! Eco are scammers.

had the orange sticker left on my door. interesting that the checkmark for 'call the delivery center' is part of the sticker print, at first i thought it was like the post office that takes a marker and physically checkmarks the appropriate option. i'm glad i did a search on this before calling the number.

no actual phone call, but had a sticker on my door to call them about a delivery, no atcual info.

Left sticker on my door while I was at home - no one knocked or rang door bell because my front door was open (locked). When I called - they left a number and I left my number by mistake. This company is sleezy in dealing with people. They lie right up front!

9-11-08: A couple of people were walking thru our neighborhood putting these stickers - "Package Delivery Notice - sorry we missed you!" on everyone's front door. It said to call the "delivery center" at 317-786-8149. They were not trying to deliver any packages. They were on foot and carrying nothing but the fake package delivery notice stickers. Obviously some kind of scam...

My wife found it on the door. She called me at work asking me if it was so****ing we were expecting which it wasn't. It sounded like a ups slip at first until i did a reverse serch with the whitepages.com. when i found out it was unlisted, i knew so****ing was wrong. Spoke with a few guys from work and they told me they got simular ones recently. This kind of scam can be harmful to people who dont know.

I do not appreciate this. I was out of town and this sticker was on my door all week, letting anyone that looked know that no one was home. Not nice. I will do all I can to discredit this practice and this company.

leave a sticker on your door making you think you've missed a delivery. You call them and it's a recording asking you to leave your name and number...RIGHT!

I got the orange sticker on the front door. thought it was strange so i did a search, yep a marketing ploy. I called them and told them that i had reported them. If they cant leave at least a name on there calling card, THERE TRASHED. Same with politians. next call is BBB after this filing...

Several people in our area leaving orange stickers on doors saying "missed delivery" with no company logo, just a phone number. Don't have to call to know this is a scam to drum up business! When number is called (called from pay phone at 5:30p - note said open til 9:00p), just get a recording to leave your name & number. Anyone report them to BBB yet?

Saw two young people going house to house as I left my driveway. When I returned found orange sticker on door that said I missed package delivery and to call this number between 2 & 9 PM. My wife called and it was a scam for water testing. Now that they have my phone number (From caller ID)I will probably be getting a sales call from them soon even though I'm on the no call list (They will say I contacted them first & they have a record of the call)or they will sell my number to some other scammer.

I too got the door sticker mentioned here.  Two things to note: there is no company name (DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.), and the check mark on the third option is printed onto the sticker, not checked with a  pen.  I figured it was some scammy sales call, so i called them.  They answered as "Eagle Package Delivery," and indeed they needed to "deliver" a coupon book (just wouldn't fit in the mailbox, I guess), but - surprise - would need to "check my water quality" while they were here.  The water quality check was, of course, free.  I declined - about 3 times.  The next day I called a***n.  They answered as before.  I asked what their shipping rates would be for a package of a given wieght to a certain destination.  The lady told me she had no idea - great package delivery service - but I could call back "when management was there."  Verdict: fishy at least, maybe real scammers.

Left a sticker on my door that had no name for a company, postal service.  All the sticker said was Package Delivery Notice, sorry we missed you.  It had several places for the person leaving it to check.  1.  Will Re-Deliver on 2. left a "delivery notice" on my door! they had children running thru the neighborhood putting these orange stickers in everyone's door. they do not have permission from the City of Beech Grove to solicit. Please ignore these notices!!

Left a sticker on my door saying they had a package for me.  Turns out it was a solicitation for water treatment.

I got a yellow sticker too!! It took some time to track the number, as I was not expecting a delivery, and found you guys. Don't call these people!!!

They put a note on your door saying you missed a package delivery. This is a TOTAL SCAM, just door-to-door telemarketers with some ****** coupons to test your water. The results always come back as polluted and you must buy their filtering unit for $ 900. They are total BS, don't even bother to call back that #. JC

Leave a note that says you missed a package delivery. (I was home they never knocked on the door). Then when you call they say they want to give you a wal mart gift card a coupon booklet and test your water.

I received the yellow sticker stating "Package Delivery Notice" with 3 options. 1. Will Re-Deliver on ...2. Pick Delivery up at ...3. Please call Delivery Center 317-786-8149 ...Of Course, 3 was checked, but no one answered the phone, and I didn't leave a message. I think this a complete hoax.
