i don't know what state you are in but in some states its illegal for collection agencies to call people at work and if you tell them once not to call you there and they do it a***n....the debt is null and void

Calls coming in all the time @ work and my cell!!  Crazy!

they call all the time, I just let the ma****e pick it up, and the person just says please call me back.  Ya! Right!  I don't answer the phone unless I know who is calling, and if you can't say what the nature of your call is then don't expect a return call.

The best thing any of you can do regardless of if you owe money or not is to file a complaint each time they call with the FTC.org and write your senators and congressmen.  The senators and congressmen can look into it for legislative side as well as on behalf of a cons***ueint.  They make the laws.  Plus they can also open up congressional investigations.  The FTC.org can work with the state attorney generals to open up investigations and s**** class action lawsuits and criminal suits a***nst these types of businesses.  The best way to end the harassment and protect yourself is to use the law.  Also, call and write Arne Duncan at the Department of Education.

They are collecting on student loans that are already under garnishment and paid in full via that venue.  They are also identifying themselves as the IRS vs. Department of Education.  File a complaint with the FTC.gov

These people call me when I am in class and actually left a message.  They said they were checking a reference for one of my friends.  I asked my friend about it and he said he had know idea who it was.  I called them and all they seemed to want was a number where they could reach him.  I told them I didn't have a number on me and they asked me to get it and call back and go from there. I have know Idea how they got my number if they havent been able to get ahold of my friend.

Now I am going to e-mail this Rick guy who is the administrator for there web sight, evertime they call me. At least he is getting paid for this BS. We need to get some kind of class action law suit going agenst them. These people called my cell but didn't leave a message.  When I called the # back to see who it was they wouldn't identify the name of the company.  They asked for my social security # -- and when I refused to give it the operator acted like I was being difficult.  Even using my name and phone# they couldn't come up with any reason why I might have been called.  I told the operator that I had looked on the internet and read that this company does debt collection for student loans and if that was accurate then they should know I have never had any student loans so there must be some mistake.  She said she could not confirm or deny what it is they do, and that the calls would probably keep coming since I could not give a case number or my social.

They've called two times and since I didn't recognize the number on caller ID, I didn't answer.  I answered on the third call and was ***g up on after I simply said*****o.  I called the number back and was transferred to the person that supposedly called me.  That person stated that they were looking for Kimberly somebody and probably had the wrong number and that they are allowed to **** up after 4 rings.  I stated that I had answered at 2 rings and asked why they ***g up before even asking my name to see whether or not it was the right number and ***g up on them.

Well just be lucky they are just calling people with the same name. I had a company take me to court because someone had the same name as I.

got a call today from 1- 317-806-8712, is this a joke....i never gaave them any info..... smart on my part ..

now i'm getting calls from this number. I owe no one. They never say anything.

I tried to return the call and got a "this number is no longer in service or has been disconnected"I never answered the original call.

These guys keep calling me at all hours of the day. They are looking for a person with the same name and ask me to verify some personal information which I refuse to do.Apparently, somone has defaulted on their student loan and they are calling everybody with my name to try to collect. They must not have the right phone number of that person so, they did a Yahoo search and came up with me and 14 others.Caller ID comes up as 317-806-8712 to a company called RCCThis outfit is based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Constantly get calls day & night - Sounds like debt collection company - I owe no one or company and all others are current.
