Here is an Idea. If this company breaks the law, sue them.  If they are calling because some one contracted them to collect on money you owe, Pay the money.  If you do not owe the money but they have your information, ask them how to dispute this.  I'm telling you that Bill collectors are not the evil obnoxious people that are ranted about.  Those that work in the field for years are actually quite helpful. I only wish that people would stop wat****g these Tv adverti*****ts that tell you to sue debt collectors.  Most of the time if you tell some one not to call you any more and they are calling from a company such as this that collects on student loans, they will gladly no longer call you.  Your employer can be held legally liable to give them a portion of your paycheck.  It is a courtesy to get contacted by some one who is willing to get debt erased off you credit report.  Rather than have it say "payments secured by garnishment".  Because if I had a choice on explaining to a banker when trying to get a home or car loan which one, I would rather have it be a non existent delinquency rather than explain that some one needed to involuntarily take the money because I'm irresponsible.  Just answer and find out whats going on.

Professional is the absolute opposite of what this company is. Rude, uneducated and unintelligent people who resort to childish behavior. Disclosed debt to two third parties, violating FTC regulations on debt collection and claim they are charging interest which they can't do. Give them a dose of their own medicine and ask what they're going to do when you file a complaint with the FTC and sue them!

Got a call on my cell from this number, they didn't leave a message.  I have never been to the Univ of P***nix.  I'll pick it up next time to see who they claim to be.

I have been getting their call on a daily basis for 3 days straight.  It is getting quite annoying.  From what I found out it is a phone #, thru whitepages.com, is that it is Coast Professional, from the desk of Brian H Davis.  The address that is****ociated with both of the contacts is:214 Expo CirWest Monroe, LAOut of the actual 4 times they have called me, none of the times was there any voicemail.  I don't answer the phone if it is an unknown caller to me **i.e. not in my address book**.

Called and let the phone ring repeatedly. I did not answer.

Caller was asking for my wife and said this was the number she left as her work number. That is BS because my wife does not and ahs never worked here. They are a scamming bill collector that calls your neighbors and relatives and tells them they need to contact you and give you a message. I will not answer any calls coming from this number a***n.

UOP takes basic inquiries and turns you into a debtor when you did nothing more than request information about organization. Refuse to accknowledge the calls and they are hounds and desperate for cash.

Got a call from 318-807-4500. I did not answer but googled it. Found these wonderful comments! I do not owe the University of P***nix a penny, never had any dealings with them. What is obvious is that 318-807-4500 is a collection agency and is collecting for many different companies including the Univ of P***nix. DO NOT ANSWER this call. It will be an abusive, obnoxious bill collector!!!

Got a call from them...didn't answer but looked up the number and found the comments in regard to this being for university of p***nix.  I too do not owe them money despite them charging me!  I disputed the charges direcetly with the credit bureau and the result of the investigation was that it was deleted from my credit report, ie. UOP could not verify that I in fact owe them monies.  I will continue to dispute should they continue on with attempts.  I agree, that these people are totally rude and ruthless!  Don't answer.  Simply dispute directly with the bureaus.

They called regarding money owed to University of P***nix.  Very Rude!!  Do not answer this call.

Caller ID reads CPI. 3188074500  They called several times but we did not answer the phone. I agree with the above comment that this is a scam... no one here owes anyone anything. Thanks for the warning!

Got a call today from "Dana" at Coast Professional asking for the first four digits of my social security #. Definitely a scam!!! Would not answer any questions.
