looked up CBE Group's phone number- this is NOT their number. getting shadier...

I googled 'CBE Group', the company that several of you have mentioned, and there is a location in Waterloo, IA. Whether this who is actually calling, I have no idea. But other people seem to be getting Dish Network. I'm guessing this is either total BS or fraudulent. Remember, the definiton of 'fraud' is theft by deception, so if anyone tries to get your financial information or sell you so****ing shady, report to an Attourney General's office in your state.

Kept calling my sister's phone and won't leave a message. Number is a landline in Waterloo, Ia. Black Hawk County.

Dish Network will do anything they can to rip you off. They or their collectors call from differant numbers constantly and even on Sunday night. Dish Network will take unauthorized withdrawals from your bank account if they have the information they need or any of your account numbers or check card numbers and that is easy for them to get since many people pay by check or bank card. They cleaned me out and say I owed them over $300.00 but my paper bill was for $171.00. My bank investigated and got some of my money back. They are still calling constantly. Unknown name so it is never answered. Always pay them by money order or some acceptible form of payment not connected to your bank account. A friend of mine never had Dish Network in her life and they took $400.00 from her checking account. She got it back after she proved that she had never been a customer but it shouldn't have happened.

I too have just ended my dish network service about 3 months ago and now I get this number on my caller I.D. about 3 times a day but won't leave a message.  My caller I.D. shows this number from Waterloo, Iowa.

thanks for the info guys, i have been wondering who was calling me from cedar rapids and googled it. thanks.i also have ended a dish network contract about a year ago with no penalties. hopefully someone is harassing this lady as well.

Some female named "Amanda" wants me to return her call at a toll free number but won't say what it is about. I looked up the number on the caller ID whish is different from the one they give you to call and found that it was a DISH NETWORK number but "Amanda" never tells you that and it seems they think everyone walks around with a pen and paper in their hands to write done the number they give you.

I don't answer when I see the caller ID. Some female named "Amanda" wants me to return her call at a toll free number but won't say what it is about. She called a***n today at 8:13 am. Isn't that too early for a sales/collection call?

It's a recording from "Amanda" asking me to call back.  They are calling my cell phone (the pre-paid type) everyday except weekends.  My name isn't****ociated with this phone number...no idea how they got it.

My Husband and I had Dish for 9 months and we got a better offer through AT&T UVerse. We switch got the box sent it back paid the last bill with cancellation fees and everthing and now they tell us we owe them more money? They call from a 1-800 number as well. I just don't answer their calls. If it's important they will leave me a message. I usually end up yelling at them because they are so ******. Ask to speak with their supervisor... always works!

It is a recording asking me to call amanda at that number I did and another recording asking me to call back in 15 minutes that they were unable to answer.  I still get calls from them

they've called more than once now and I am on the government do not call list.  These people are strange, deceptive and harassing.Today I filed a complaint through the Do not call site.

Although I registered with the National Do Not Call Registry this female caller named Amanda keeps calling me since AT%T took over Cingular. I am sure AT&T sold my phone number so I will switch to another cell phone provider as soon as my ATT contract ends. Very rude female caller, demanded to know who I was; refused to say who she was. told her never to call my cell a***n. Suspect it is Dish Network, calling about someone else, as I have never had Dish or any satellite TV service.

This number keeps calling me. For the past three days I told them not to call me no more and everyday 3 more calls. So today I said no I wasn't there and that it was the wrong number and the lady began to argue with me saying that she knows that it was me that she had just talked to me yes****ay. I told her to take my number off her computer and stop calling. I guess I'll find out at 8:30 AM if she did or didn't.
