Posted an add for a lost glove on Craigslist. Said he was a truck driver and was already out of the area. He claimed to have purchased my sons lost glove for $30. Became irate after asking for a picture. Ultimately, he wanted me to wire him money to ship it back using Western Union.

Claimed he found my stolen tackle box. Lives in Ames, IA (the right area code), but was out of town and would call me when he returned. Called twice, 8 & 12 May 2025. Acted ca*** when I asked for photos to verify it was mine. Never asked me to send him money. Claimed to be 60 years old, and his accent sounded like an African American from the rural deep south. I texted him once, but got no reply.

Rec'd call regarding lost motorcycle luggage ... told me he'd ship it back ... said he was a trucker, already out of the area. Ignored multiple requests for photos. SCAMMER!@!@

Said they found my bike wheel, which I actually lost. Goes by Samuel. I couldn't call them back or text even though he asked me to.

Claimed that they found my lost wallet. Has anyone heard back or have any updates on their situation?

Claimed to have my iPad and that a kid sold it to him. Asked him to ship it back and requested a photo of the iPad but with the prior comments I doubt I'll hear anything about it

call purchased my Fossil watch and wanted 20.00 back for it, it was stolen out of my car and police have his number and working it now as of today

This phone number was used to scam us, told us they found our ring and would return it.
