Same story as that outlined above: saw ad in Facebook marketplace for a 2003 Vespa s******, after inquiring about this received an email pointing me to [email protected]. Further correspondence followed the "recently divorced," moved out of state, pay me with eBay cards scam. I kept copies of all these emails, including routing details if useful.

On FB Marketplace selling a 2003 Vespa ET4 150cc for $800. Replied that she (Katie Sullivan) got the bike from a divorce settlement and that eBay would handle the transaction. She provided pictures upon request. She said the bike is in custody of eBay in Eagan, MN, and eBay would put the money into a trust account. eBay would then will deliver the bike to me for a 5 days testing period.

Vespa for sale on Marketplace (Facebook), was definitely interested, sent a message, and was directed to her email [email protected]. She said it was all handled by EBay, and I would receive an email. Received the email invoice, wanting payment to be made by $800 in EBay gift cards, clicked on the invoice link, that I wanted to pay with PayPal, they said I couldn’t, this morning I logged into my eBay, saw no messages, so did an online chat with customer service, there was no order # found, and said a true eBay sale would allow to pay as I chose. Logged into the link on the invoice a***n, (got the same CS Rep.) that’s weird, online chat told I would not be completing the sale, emailed her as well, no response, but now listed in 3 cities in Oregon and Washington, Marketplace, so I have reported all 3 as fraud.

Has an ad for a 2003 Vespa Alabaster ET4 listed on a cycle trader site for only $800. Appears to be fraud. Also, another ad with same response for an RV priced way too low to be real. Each ad has an immediate response to email [email protected] (Vespa), and [email protected] (RV). Definitely seems fraudulent. Please investigate

Only contacts through email but had an ad for a 2008 honda cbr 600 for $1200. I asked for pics and got some sob story about divorce etc. Got pics but she wanted my personal info to give to ebay to conduct the sale. Seemed sketch. Googled her name and sure enough scammer from sandstone, MN

This is a scam number that is selling on craigslist and stole $1250.00 from my grandson for a john Deere's zero riding lawn mower in daytona beach but is operating out of minnesota. Has been reported to washington dc, and police. Still on craigslist today, alias Katie Sullivan in Sandstone, Mn
