The employed individual relays the renter information to this number for a ‘salary’ each week. Come time for the person to pay the work from home employee the scammer requests 50$ from their employee to verify their cash app account can receive a large sum of money. CASH APP DOES NOT DO THIS - no such thing as a verification to receive funds.
