Leave a CommentReceived a call first from 1-877-212-3634 ext. 278 from a person name Sam Erik who said he worked with Financial Consulting Services and named three banks that they were affiliated with naming mine. He stated that they were calling to****ist with reducing interest rates. I ******ly gave my card number than thought, "he sould know the info if he is working with the bank." he sounded very foreign, like from India. He said he would have a manager call us within a half hour. After I spoke with him, I called my credit card and closed that account and reported the call giving their security dept. the phone number that called. As promised, someone called back persistently from the 321-332-0990 number. Finally, I answered and told the caller that I was not interested in any of their services and had reported them to the security dept. of my credit card.
Here's the only way to stop these calls (only you can stop them).Waste as much of their time as you can stand. Commission salespeople hate that worse than anything. While they're ****ing with you, their paycheck is shrinking.Tell them you're really interested, but your card is with your spouse. You can go get a statement. Take 10 minutes to find one, tell them it's a year old. You'll go find a newer one (10 minutes a***n, but you never find the 'newer one'). Give them a fake 16-digit number (VISA s****s with 4, M/C s****s with 5) that you've written down (so you can repeat it when it fails). Expiration date is next year, your name is (some fake name) and the name they have in their 'files' is for people who moved out.Tell them your rate is 15.9%, you owe $8,000 dollars. When they question the 'wrong' number, tell them sorry, it's an old statement and that card was canceled. The new card is with the spouse who's visiting next door. You'll be right back. Don't come back. They'll stop calling. Or, call their "Orlando" office at 321 332-0990 and ask the calls to stop, but no promises on that one.

Just had a call from "Card Services", too, claiming they represented multiple card companies. They were offering to lower interest rates on multiple credit cards, as long as I owed at least $3,000.00, had an interest rate over 10%, and also had an AVAILABLE balance of $500.00 or more. The caller claimed not to know why the available balance was needed. She said she was not asking for the security code, just my expiration date, and then asked me to confirm my credit card number. I finally had enough of the ****ee geebees to end the call, but not before I had given her the card number. To be on the safe side, I called my legitimate credit card company and spoke to a fraud specialist (and put my card on a security hold!), who confirmed that the company that called me is an actual company. The problem is their practices are not on the level. They lure customers in promising to lower credit card rates, and then want to charge a lot of money to do it. Whether or not they can actually achieve a lower interest rate is another question - I didn't think to ask my fraud specialist that one.
This is a phishing call number. Called to say they can lower interest rate on credit card. Caller ID showed "Card Services" so I thought it was legit. When I asked how they are able to accomplish this with two different credit card companies, the young man said, "We charge you $900, but you save that much in two or three months." I declined immediately, and called both companies to cancel cards.
Called to tell me they had lowered my interest rate on two of my cards!!!!!!
Had the same call today. He wanted to reduce all of my interest rates on my cards as long as my balance was above $3000. Then he read the first four digits of my cards (which some were wrong) and needed me to confirm them. I said I did not feel comfortable and then he continued to press me so I ***g up and then he continued to call 2 additional times from this Florida number leaving messages. Initially the number was card services 402-982-0763 and was a recording. He gave me his information in order to get me to comply (Raul Rodriguez Visa and Mastercard Financial services 1 877 212 3634 ext 255), but said if I called back it would't work. This number answers with Financial Consulting Services which shows up multiple times on Better Business Bureau's website in multiple locations, not FL but is not accredited but has no complaints either. Called all of my credit card companies to let them know of the scam and c****e my numbers. Not taking any chances.
received a call from this number asking for card numbers for rate reduction. I gave him two old card numbers, but they did not pass his test. Then I gave a card number for account I closed last week. They ran check and said I have no balance and account was closed... (magic huh!)... Well-- people the problem is not them, its YOUR BANKING SYSTEM with open access. GOOD LUCK with your credit.(personally I just curse at them and yell at them till they **** up, and call them a***n when I need to vent :) Hopefully you all do the same over and over a***n. (also send automated faxes to these numbers. flood them with spam calls, faxes. STAND UP AND TAKE CHARGE
