Leave a Commentthey have been calling me a lot lately with numbers from the caller id like 116, 113, 1109, 1100. Finally answered one and he said I had a problem reported with my windows ma****e. Being cautious I asked which one my win7 or my xp? when he couldn't really tell me.... I said let me check them out and call him back which he gave me the 321-445-1306 number.
Carol. Received a call saying that I my computer was being hacked by someone in So Africa and I asked where and and asked his name he said his name was Andrew Watson I said he sounded like he was from India or ****stan. He read me off some numbers and said I should call this number and a a Microsoft Technician would fix my problem. I told him that I would not let anyone log into my computer and fix anything. He gave me this number 321-445-1306. I am going to contact the Florida Attorney General's office with this scam.
Called me today. Caller ID read "1105". Caller said his name is Michael with Windows but not Microsoft (***?). Said my four different computers from my home WiFi are all sending information to "Windows" that I downloaded viruses from the internet. Give me a break!! I asked for a return number and he gave me 321-445-1306 and said to ask for Michael. If you fall for this, you are in trouble. Microsoft will not call you. They will send an email asking you to call them. Also, they do not monitor your computer. If you agree, they will receive errors, etc. for trouble*****ing. You do have to "agree" to send them this information. Total *****in' SCAM!!
I too just received a call from this number and he called himself Michael. The caller ID on my phone read 45-652-9384 but when I asked for his call back number he gave me 321-445-1306. he read my CLSID number from my computer back to me, told me he was from Windows (not Microsoft) and tried to get me to allow him access to my computer. THIS IS A SCAM!!! I contacted Microsoft who told me they never call they email and have you call them if the need be.
Just received a call from this scammer! He read a CLSID number back to me and then wanted me to allow him to access my computer, to resolve these supposed viruses in my computer. He stated he was from Microsoft. Beware! He was trying to hack my computer. Microsoft does not call, they email!
The guy (Robert) identified himself as Microsoft Windows representative and tried to get me to open my computer because he knows someone hacked into my computer from South Africa and I need help from Windows.
