Leave a Commentthey have been calling me saying I owe them for magazines, which is not true.I just stopped answering their calls
They have called several days and want to reduce my visa bill for magazines by $10 per month. I do not pay for magazines by visa so I knew they were fishing.I asked for their company name and she said they coulnd not give it out. They ***g up when I said I would go to the police.
They called tonight asking for me, and had my first name. The lady said her name was Marie and she said she was from the company that sends out my magazines. She said that she talked to someone earlier who said that they were me but sounded "much younger". She said she did not believe that I was really (my name) and asked for my date of birth. I asked her just why she needed that and what she was calling about. She s****ed getting upset and rambled on a***n about talking to someone with my name earlier and not believing I was who I said I was. I told her I'm not giving out personal information unless I know who is calling and what they are calling about. She got f****ered and said that it was obvious that it was not me and ***g up.This is an obvious scam, but I hope they don't have more than just my name and phone number. Thankfully I didn't give them anything they asked for. When they realize that they can't bully or trick info from you they will **** up.

They will not stop calling, they say we have magazine subscriptions through them, we don't.
After many calls where no one spoke when I answered, finally when I picked up someone spoke. I wanted to find out why these people keep pestering me. There is so****ing very wrong going on here. It s****ed out as so****ing ***ue about magazines, but the information he gave had nothing to do with me, so I think it's some sort of fishing expedition. He kept pressing me for identifying information (he knew my name, but wanted to "verify" my date of birth, and was annoyed that I wouldn't just answer his questions). When I told him I chose not to give him my date of birth, he ***g up while I was in mid-sentence.

This same number keeps harassing me as well. I have flipped out on them several times. They call at least once a week and have been calling for several months. They claim that I signed up for this magazine 4 months ago and they even have my checking account info. But of course when I asked them to say the checking acct number they wouldn't. They are complete scam and am trying to figure out how to block them!
i just got the same call every other day saying the sa****ing that i sign up for their company and thats not true at all.
just got a call from this number, didn't pick up, good thing i look it up
Called and said I had signed up for magazines and that my credit card would be charged $49 but they were reducing it to $39 . I told them to me a printout. I have not signed up for any such thing. DO NOT PICK IT UP IF IT SAYS MELBOURE, FL
It is Treasure Coast Readers, they want to call you and charge you 40 a month on magazine that you don't even read or want. Best advice: don't pick up on numbers you don't know.
have the number blocked on my phone but a check of the calls missed will still show that number every day at least 2x a day= and yes, when you try to call back it is blocked.....
Also got a call from that number. Caller ID said Melbourne, Fl. No message left just static.
