Leave a Commentthey somehow had the last 4 digits of my Amex, and they wanted me to read them the whole thing . I said I wont give it to u, who are you and what mags are u talking about? they said they can not give me the names due to privacy issues.I ***g up then someone called back 10 min later and said I know the prior rep was very rude to you and I am sorry about it and s****ed to ask the same questions a***n. She said my 2 mags I get cost 49.00 a month. I just laughed and said you do not call me back ever a***n and ***g up. Will c. When I dial their number back, I get a busy signal.I can not believe ppl make their money like this!
Just received a phone call. Spoke to a customer service agent who asked me some questions, I asked to speak to a supervisor. A supervisor called me back. They wanted to verify information. I told them I pay by check and don't use credit cards. They said they bought the subscription that I requested 4 months ago and that they were offering me a credit because they haven't been sending me these magazines for months. I never ordered anything! The supervisor wound up ****ing up on me after I demanded to talk to someone that could cancel, he said that I can expect to see a bill in the mail and ***g up.
I recommend a Google Voice Phone Number, you can then "BLOCK" the number after the first call and their computers automaticly drop the number when they hear the "DISCONNECTED PHONE" recording, works every time and it is free.
I have gotten calls (not only from this number but from 10 others) Regarding the "magazine subscription" bull sh**. A couple of months ago, i agreed to get magazines for a gas card, "FOR FREE". They said they had my card number and worked closely with my bank so I beleived them, all I had to say over the phone is that I agree. I never gave out any personal info. Eventualy they charged my credit card, a total of over $400 in many different charges on different dates. I received credits from my bank, but continue to get phone calls asking if my magazines are coming in ok. I've tried everything over the phone to find out who they are, even by being nice and getting any info I can. Every time they suspect that I am digging deeper to find out about them, they **** up automatically. I dont know how these people sleep at night. I am so f****ered with the entire thing, that when they call now, I dont even try to find out who they are. I just s**** bashing them for doing what they do for a living.
THEY KEEP CALLING ME! THEY ARE SO ANNOYING! IVE NEVER ORDERED A MAGAZINE FROM THEM! this company is 100% scam...NEVER GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION!
I just got a call from this number...it showed up on my caller ID as International - the lady ask to speak with Kimberly Fox...I said, this is she. She stated that this was the company who sends out my magazines. I said, no, I get mine from another company. she actually said..."F*** YOU and ***g up... i think it took me a few minutes to gather myself ... wow! that was a first! im not sure whether to laugh or be offended....
These guys are phishing for my information but unfortunately, they have my cell phone number. They DO NOT have my credit card information and will not get any further information from me but, I sure wish they'd stop calling me. They are incredibly vicious - I have read many complaints about this company which goes by several names - Treasure Coast Readers, ****e Coast Readers. DO NOT give them any information about yourself for any reason. C****e your phone number if you have to and cancel all of your debit/credit cards if they have charged you for anything. They really need to be stopped!!
I hate them. A** Hole Publiations!
it is a total scam. you didn't order it, but if they have a credit card on you, cancel the credit card or check card in my case and they have nothing!
jesse you rock
This call that I keep getting has been named A** Hole Publications on my phone. They told me that I owe them $3,000.00 dollars. F*** YOU A**HOLE PUBLICATIONS! I had to cancel my check card because somehow they had that number. Just s**** talking crazy. When they call you and ask you what your name is say, "Spaghetti and Meat*****". Or get some of your friends to pick up and pretend they are your doctor saying you are not mentally stable to read magazines. F*** WITH THESE A** HOLES! DO NOT PAY THEM A DIME.
I don't understand why these ppl keep on calling. same issue as the others, they say i owe them $$ for magazines but they can't identify which magazines, when asked to speak w supervisor, they ***g up on me. n when i tried to call them back, the line is busy every single time!!!!
Telemarketer that will not remove me from their list and insists that I pay them $50 a month for the next 25 months for non existant magazine subscriptions. They can't even identify the "magazines" that I have supposedly ordered.
Just received a call from ****e Cadet checking on my Women's magazine that I rodered - told them I do not have the time nor money to play these games I have never recevied nor ordered any ma***zes. He said he would note the account and have his floor mananger check into it, WHATEVER!
During the call the girl insisted I had a subscription to all sorts of magazines and that it was past a 13 day window to cancel the subscription and I told her I havent read a magazine since 2001 which is true for the most part I barely have time for anything like that and all they would do is sit in a corner and collect dust. Well she kept insisting that I owe money to them and I told her I wanted to talk to the billing department which had conveniently gone home for the day. well im waiting for a return call from them today we shall see
This is the third call regarding magazine subscriptions (first two showed as unknown on caller ID), I supposedly am being billed for, receiving. I am not being billed ($59.99/month they say), am not receiving any women's magazine. Well, then it was, no, you haven't been billed because the ones you selected are on backorder. This time the "manager" knew the first eight numbers of my credit card, I said, so what, the last lady knew the last four, only they were old and didn't go through. Yes, also Reader's Choice is one to stay away from. Today, the man said it was legite and he was sending me the package to prove it. SCAM, can you smell one? I called my credit card and they said that anything I do not authorize is not my responsibility, but ****e Coast says it has the proof. I am so tired of this, I suffer from 5 diseases and do not need this stress.
just got a phone call and I keep telling them to cancel my subscription and they tell me that I passed the 13 day trial cancellation period and if I cancel that I have to pay $890.00 for the rest of the subscription. I told them to send me this agreement cause I will be contacting my lawyer about cancelling this ****!!
this number has called me 6 times in the past week. I've never picked up the phone, and never received a voice mail so whatever they are calling about/selling can't be that important if they wont leave a message. But they wont stop calling!
Same **** as above. S****ed filing coomplaints with the FCC on each number that a call is recieved from. What I find I find annoying is, despite how well I protect my cell number (and have no land lines) these scammers manage to call and ask for me by correct name - though they never get the address right.
I am getting these calls as well - it is driving me nuts.
HAD THIS SAME THING HAPPEN TO ME TODAY I WAS LIKE F THIS IM CANCELLING WHATEVER YOURE TRYING TO SIGN ME UP FOR
a company by the name of ****e (so****ing... couldn't understand her) about mag. subscriptions. a compete scam. don't answer the call
I've been getting calls from this number and a few different ones as well. Some are restricted numbers. I accidentally answered one of the calls and it was a telemarketing on magazines that they said it was sent to me as a promotion for being a preferred credit card holder. All they need is my zipcode. I declined and ***g up. Since then, I've been getting calls from this number and a few other numbers.
Oh! And it was the same thing "verbal agreement". I never made any verbal agreements... unless they called me in my sleep. Ha.
I got a call about a magazine subscription that I do not have and never have had. She said she couldn't tell me the magazine she is just in billing. That they are getting payments but just want to check that I am getting my magazines on time. I have gotten 20+ calls like this over the last few months, all the same patter, all from different numbers and all different people. I do answer my phone when I am available and on 3 instances they have ***g up on me when I have tried to get them to stop calling me.
Received a call from this number today saying they would take $10 a month off my account. She said I had twelve months left at $49.95 a month. I asked her to send me a copy of any agreed upon paperwork by me that they had on file. She claimed it was a verbal agreement over the phone. I told her I only order my magazines through Publisher's Clearing House because I only pay around $10-$15 a year for them. I also only pay by check, not credit card. They did not have my correct address and she refused to send any paperwork to the address they had which is my sister's address now. She claimed the magazines were going out to my old address of which they are not. I told her that if she charged my account for anything I would sue her. I ***g up!
Got a call from this number, woman said her name was Brenda of ****e Codes, wanting to check if my magazine subscriptions were coming through OK. Then she proceeds to ask my D/O/B, which I declined. She was very persistent, and even offered to connect me to another department when I asked to be put through to her manager - but in order to do that, she said that she needed to verify my D/O/B. I even asked which magazines I was receiving through, as I would be cancelling them - but she said she didn't know. I answered how could she verify my magazines, if she didn't know which ones I was meant to be receiving? Very annoying - she eventually ***g.
321-872-3222 has been calling me on my cell since March about some magazines that I did not order. I have not received any magazines but they keep saying I still owe them money. I have since March received roughly 15-20 calls from them and I get angrier each time I get caught with them on the phone. I told them to leave me alone, remove my number, but they just keep calling. PLEASE HELP

Its a call regarding debts. Companies monitor credit reports and scores, and they call and hassle you trying to get you to sign up with them and they will help lower your debt, etcetera. Beware of these folks. All they really want is to collect money from you while saying they will negotiate with your creditors to lower your payback amount, all the time you're still being reported as a bad credit risk, you will s**** getting calls/letters from attorney offices trying to collect on behalf of the creditors. Its a lot of hassle and rip-off.
I have been asked to be taken off this call list several times with no success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No voicemail was left.
My girlfriend just told me was receiving a bunch of calls from that number today and yes****ay. She hasn't answered them and she has said nothing has come out of her account yet. Hopefully nothing comes out of this but I will keep you updated.
