You can contact your provider and give them number. They will in turn block that # from texting you. Worked for me

Got a text from 323-230-45***hen an hour later from 289-588-9392 that said that my Mastercard debit card had been lock and to call to unlock it. SPAM

On 12/14/2011 @ 3:56PM, (PST). I recv'd a text message that stated: Your H&R block emerald mastercard has been locked. called back and got a recording that asks for a 16 digit card number to unlock card. ***** DO NOT CALL - SPAM *******

exact same as Ann. I got this text at 8:53 this morning. and i got one from another unverified sender a couple of months ago about so****ing else. ANNOYING!

Just got the same thing. If we would legislate the ***** penalty on such things, we'd never have to go through this stuff.

Also purporting to be about Washington Mutual B, Alert # 436572. I thought that it might be about shares of stock that I owned. However, after reading these posts I consider that doubtful. This is probably a scam, rather than spam. Did anyone contact them and find out what they were up to?

I just got the same text on my cell phone with the same numbers. I don't even have an account with the old WaMoo or the new JPMorgan Chase. Spam. Wish we could vaporize them.

Received text from****7682697 (which I think is****ociated with India). Says "WashingtonMutualB KJFJ alert 279696. Please call 323-2344571". I only have personal accounts with Chase (formerly with WaMu) and they don't even have my (business) cell phone number. Definitely spam!

same message as the others, definitely SPAM, I have a strong relationship with Chase and WAMU is not sending messages

I just got a text from****-948-5387 telling me to call 323-230-4571. Like Ann, the text reads WashingtonMutualB NLRM alert 282995. Please call 323-230-4571. I also do no have any accounts with WaMu. Funny enough, WaMu doesn't exist anymore :)

I got a text from****-353-7944 telling me to call this number 323-230-4571. The text read "WashingtonMutualB CCH alert 637944. Please call (323)-230-4571." The****# is a New York cell phone#, the 323# is a unlisted landline in Los Angeles. Oh, and I've never had an account with WaMu.
