Spammer asking for specific person then asks for man woman of house

Calls all the time - I don't answer anymore

How did this man get my cell phone number? Is he a scammer??

I answered a corporate business cell. Male asked for someone specific, then asked if the lady / man of the house was home. I responded that "this is a business phone, would you like to leave a msg?" He responded with "no message, we'll call back" Hope not.

Called and asked for donations.

Called and asked for Ramon. I said they got the wrong number, didn't matter, he went right into his "donate for Veterans" s***ch. This is a pay-as-you-go phone and it costs me money on each call. Seems "Ramon" is quite popular as that name is being used by scammers.

They said it was for a veterans program.
