I received a call from this number and they left the same message as the comment above.

A male caller called and stated I had a legal case pending and a lawsuit is due to be filed on December 15, 2021 in Los Angeles CA. and I must call another number {1-866) 840-0383} and ask for Stephanie. Her number also indicates a scam. She claimed that a credit card company hired her firm to sue me for an unpaid account. I paid this account in full in 2015 and have all do***ents and credit reports showing it's PIF and closed. I ran a credit check and it no longer shows up on my credit report. When I challenged her and told her the statue of limitations to sue in California is 4 years, she got aggressive and said a lawsuit was forth coming. I asked her to send me do***ents for me to peruse and she declined, stating that I've already been sent numerous letters and I ignored them. I have never received anything from them. After doing lots of research, I have found other people who have delt with the same exact phone #, caller and scam pitch.

This number called for my dad who does 7 years ago, didn’t state who they were or why they were calling
