Leave a CommentI have no idea how they got my number. They want me to model for them and I won't! Tell them to please stop calling me! I'm scared!
exploretalent.com - They call you with leads and make you feel special and drop on you the $199 fee to be able to get anywhere. The thing is it's a pure gamble and there is no guarantee that your $199 will get you work. It is only preliminary, and that the company they've released your information to may not even select you for an audition. They my not select you after auditioning. It's like those dating sites that they tell you that you have matches, but have to pay the a fee to get information. Often it turns out the "matches" are not for you. At least with real agencies you pay 20 percent and you KNOW you have work!
****s up when you answer
mahmoudhoda is the best
This is a scam I got the same call and this time it was for a horror movie and they need me right away. What b.s. how do these losers get peoples information? The FBI needs to take a look at these ****** monkeys.
i got a call from a patricia.. but i believed it.. unfortunately and gave them my address... DO NOT DO THIS!!!.. looks like a scam.. and they urge you to pay for a subscription... on the phone.. even worse.. I didnt do so. ITS UNPROFESSIONAL and probably a SCAM.
Being a member of several talent and modeling agencies, calls like this come to me daily, BUT this gentleman was very rude, and called twice after normal business hours (9PM). I have reported him to the BBB.
I AM a member of serval modeling agencies, so getting a call like this is typical for me, BUT this guy called at 9PM (unprofessional no matter what industry) and then called back after I had ***g up. The guy was really rude when I tried to explain that I didn't have a signal.
add credit card fraud to their list of activities!
scamscamscamscamscamall the way!
a guy calling saying he is from explore talent.. but when i call back it is not a real number
Just got off the phone with mario, who complimented me numerous times. I believe they get your info from LA casting, since thats the only site im listed on. He made all these endless promises. It sounds nice when someone ******s your ego, and you feel important, but at the same time, always know that these internet online "modeling/ acting" sites are mostly fraudulent. its a shame. Mario suggested a few times if i didnt sign up right then and there, that there would be no promises if i waited. Believe me, i set the record straight. we spoke for a good 45 minutes. i could tell he was getting winded, and knew he had failed this sale!Needless to say, i did not sign up, nor am I.
they called me a couple hours ago and im only 16 and asked to speak with my mom im glad i found this stuff out cause i was going to feel so ****** if i went and i always wanted to model and stuff

I just got a call from "Lloyd" today in regards to my talent profile... which i had just set up. There's nothing on it as far as measurements, past experience...anything. He claims to be the Creative Director with the company in Detroit, and that there are several casting calls awaiting me.Shady? Quite possibly.I just don't think I"m going to bite the bait on this one.
A man named Chopin called me last night and sd that 246 people look at my profile and was interested in me.He asked me to buy a 1yr membership for almost 200 dollars. Now that I have read the comments I'm not going that route. I want to become an actres but at what cost!!! Watch out for scams everyone:)
i got a call earlier today from a guy named marvin stating that he was the creative director of explore talent. he said that some people like "my look" and that there were some auditions he wanted me to go to but that i had to pay so much money to upgrade my acount so that casting directors can view my website. i had my mom talk to the guy because i couldn't really understand what he was saying, it sounded like he was talking too close to the phone. well me and my mom were sceptical about it beings as we had to pay a bunch of money. so we looked it up on the internet and everything that i've seen so far confirms that it is a scam! huge ***mer... i really wanna make it as an actress but i don't know where to go beings as i live in a really small town with no big cities by in ****** old michigan!
Yeah, i had the same thing happen. Some guy called me yes****ay and said that he had two modeling jobs for me right away...one being Victoria Secret (yeah right) and that i needed to call him back because my account was innactive. I was thinking about it, but after seeing all these comments i've decided not to. I had a feeling it would be a scam anyways...
so this guy calls and wakes me un in the morning to tell me he is from Explor talent wanting to sign me up. After 10 minutes of telling me he has all the connections to getting me auditions he asks for $200 to sign up. I told him, i was not ready to spent $200 at the moment and there after he tells me im a lier, that i have wasted his time, and that i dont know who he is in this industry and ****s up ! extreamly rude
answering ma****e keeps calling every day, there is no one to talk to on the line
This number showed up on my caller id. The guy left a message on my voicemail saying that some casting directors were interested in me and to call him back at 323-785-2000 ext 3014?? So why did a different number show up? Total scammer!
I got a call from them today saying that they wanted me for a role in Les Miserables, but like BreAnna, I hadn't put up a resume or picture or ANYTHING yet. I've tried to delete my account before, but I could never figure out how...such a scam. Be careful, everyone...
I wanted to check into extra work for movies and TV being filmed locally...and so I found explore talent online...they have been calling non stop for about a month. The man in charge said that he had two jobs for me right away....that I was perfect for a role, yet I hadnt set up a resume or a picture ye****'s such a scam. Not I do not answer the calls or return them and i plan on deleting my account.:) best of luck to others.
I got a call from the number and they seemed really nice. Is it a scam?
I received a call yes****ay from Westley about a modeling opportunity. I did not answer the phone and did not call back because i wasnt familliar with the number.

I must go and delete my account with explore talent.Happy travels..travel Light.
John calls telling me that they are interested in talking to me about an opportunity. I found this su****cios since I do not know anyone at this number
Received call from John Q. stating that several companies saw my picture and they are interested in me for modeling and acting, but before I can s****, I need to activate my membership with explore talent for $199.50. Once activated, he has 4 auditions set up for me. I have a funny feeling about this, so I am not going to pay. I believe it is a scam
