(336) 217-0876

03/26/2010 - received a call from this # at 9:45am on my cell, I answered it and there was no reply or response- I put it on speaker and waited for 55 seconds, still nothing on the other end so I hung up.

I received this call tonight and it called my home phone and my cell at the exact same time, and when I answered my home phone the person said I'm sorry I have the wrong number, the cell went staright to voicemail, but it showed up private on both phones. 1-366-217-0876

I have started to get these calls 3-4 times a week, and I didn't answer because I didn't recognize it.  Tried to call back, got a message that the call did not go through. Called reverse look-up, and all they could tell me is that is it a North Carolina number.  I got 336-217-0877. I get the impression that it is not a person, but a machine.

Started getting calls from 336-217-0875. Blocked it. Now 336-217-0876 is calling. Blocking that too. Maybe taking a survey instead of getting HUNG UP ON might be appealing. It's not a person on the other end making these phone calls. It's a program designed to dial targeted phone numbers from randomly generated CID (easy to fake) numbers which determines - on your answer - when you are home. That's harrassment, not a survey.

They're obviously not legitimate, do not give them any info. "Tiredofwhiners", above, is probably one of them. The 713 number above is an unusual number for this group. Perhaps a lead for any law enforcement that should be looking into this.

I am on the "DO NOT" Call list and I still get unknown #'s on my caller ID. I want it stopped or I "WILL CALL" the BBB and report them!!!!!!

Next time the folks associated with this number call my house at 3:00 a.m., I will forward it on to you, Tiredofwhiners.  You must have a boring life to have so much free time to deal with these kinds of calls.

I have received several calls on my cell phone from this number. When I answer no one is on the other end. If I don't answer they do not leave a message. I would really like them to stop calling me.

Received phone call with caller ID SOUTHNET. They asked questions for an education research project. However, all of the questions were based on the religion of the household. I asked for their address and further details and they hung up. I called the number on caller ID, and received a fax tone.

Received a call from "Southnet" 336-217-0876 today as well.  Called it back and got this line is disconnected or no longer active recording.  I'm going to put them on my call block feature.

Get calls from this number 3-4 times a week, caller ID shows Southnet. Also showed Voice Exchange 713-226-2555. Called back, Southnet was a disconnected number, Voice Exchange was GSA or CSA something, voicemail box was full, sounds fishy to me

They have called me a few times. When I returned the call, a message says "the line has been disconnected or is no longer in service". Something is definitely fishy about these folks. I'm gonna answer next time and tear them a new a--hole! But I have a feeling it will just be a disconnect anyway.  Anybody know whats going on?

To whom it may concern:SouthNet, which is located in Hamilton, AL, is a small Internet Service Provider with a total of six (6) employees. I know everyone that works for this company and I myself am also an employee of SouthNet. SouthNet is a localcompany doing business in Marion, Winston, and Walker Counties. We are not licenced to work outside of this area. WE ARE NOT TELEMARKETS! We are not making these calls! In fact, if you were to actually receive a call from SouthNet (and you never will), your caller ID would NOT say SouthNet. I will not disclose what our Caller ID is, but I assure you, it is NOT SouthNet. The numbers 336-217-0882, 336-217-0875 or any other number with a (336) area code is not SouthNet numbers. If you receive a phone call and your caller ID says SouthNet, then you are a victim of "Caller ID Spoofing". The call back number is most likely spoofed as well. We, the employees of SouthNet, are also victims of this Spoofing. We have received phone calls from all over the United States from the nice to the really nasty. I got a call today on this number showed as southnet and disconnected... was on my caller id.. interesting.. something is fishy

I keep receiving calls from them on my cell phone. I dont put that number out there anywhere for these kinds of reasons. How they got my cell number gets me. They call and ask me about my household appliances. I have not bought anything new in a few years now. I told them that if they call me one more time I am going to press harrassment charges on them.  This is so annoying!!
