perhaps it's automated, which means you don't have to try and answer it. The call records show the call was made. This was an attempt to collect on a bill.Perhaps they are preparing to sue and will need these records to take to court.

I get 4 or 5 of these calls s****ing at 08:00 am to 5:00 pm. When I pick up the phone no one answers. My caller id says unknown caller

I receive calls from this number and when I answer they **** up...

The caller ID says Sears Citi . I called Sears and they told me they have not called me and this must be just somebody trying to scam. When I pick up the phone ***ody is ever there. I am on the no call list and there is no reason for them to be calling me. I wish they would stop!

They call from 6:00 AM pass 8:00 constantly. I still don't know why they are calling. I too don't answer.

They have called me 4-5 times a day for the last 9 days, I have no idea why. I do not have a Sears or Home Depot account and I don't have any citi cards. They must have gotten my private cell phone number, that no one has because it's for emergency only, from somebody in the "close eyes, throw dart at phone book" dept. It's a rinky **** pay as you go phone I keep in my glove compartment, I've never even used it, well at least I know it works.

This is probably legit.  They do represent several CR companies, including Sears and Home Depot.  When they call me, it's usually about my balance on my Home Depot account.  So far they've been courteous and cooperative.

I've been getting calls now for a week, today is Sunday. ***- hope legislation in Congress c****es soon.

This number is to collect on a debt from sears.They call at all times of day and even on Sundays. (Illegal)

These are the numbers these people with a thick Middle-Eastern accent keep calling me from, each time they are rude, threaten arrest, curse, etc....they call my house, my cell and my place of employment daily. Now when they call from the 816-420-1002 number they say they are Citi-Card, (I DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH CITI-CARD), I now know the accent and voice of these men, so I know it's still them, they call on the weekends and all hours of the day and night....I AM SICK OF IT!!! I just sent you another update a few days ago on that last number they're calling from and here it is Monday, and now they're calling from a new number: 336-522-8998. They say they're calling from Sears, (A***N, I HAVE NO ACCOUNT WITH SEARS), same accent and men....I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THESE CALLS AND THE NUMBEROUS NUMBERS THEY SEEM TO BE ABLE TO CALL FROM. It's Sears / Citi BankI don't have accounts with either and I am fed up.  I answered a few months ago and they are looking for my mother in law ... she used our home phone numnber, without permission.  I asked them to take my number out of their system and gave them her number, which is unlisted, now they are calling a***n.  I am on the "Do Not Call" list in my home state and the national list...so much for help from the government!

They call my house like everyday about 5 times, one time someone answered and they stated they had business with me I pretended I wasn't home!

This is a total scam. After calling me for weeks they left a message. I was to call an 800 #. I did it asked me for my act # and internet pass code. I ***g up and called the # on the back of my card. Citicard****ured me I owed nothing and I reported this # as a fraud. They stopped calling for a week until today, they are calling a***n.

I called this number and they answer as 'Sears' then transferred me to Citibank, telling me that my card was 18 days over due by $69.  This was true as I checked my account online.  The customer service represented seemed to be aware of my account balance and activity, so it seems that this was a ligitimate (but annoying) call.

COPY OF TEXT POSTED ON GOOGLE A***NST 336-522-8998/8999This is either Sears or Citibank (who issues cards as Sears Mastercard).  Before you read my details, check your Credit Bureau files to see if they have entered negative remarks on your files.  This is important, and if they have, file complaint with FTC and attorney General's office.I had a Sears Mastercard account once from a promotional offer, but soon regretted it as I saw the rates c****e.  I paid it all in full immediately and wrote to them closing the account. That was 7 months ago, but these basta..s are calling me everyday.  The full payment is do***ented, but they still keep asking for payment and keep adding monthly late fees every month, since I don't send them $$.  I wrote them 4 letters (certified) asking them to explain why they think I owe any payment after it was paid in full, but no one answered my letters so far.  I got letters from different addresses, one of which was from a T. Wingfield, signed as Vice-president in Citibank, asking for payment.  I replied to him also with the same question as above, and giving details when full payment was posted on the account.  He never replied to my question either.  To make matters worse, I saw negative entries from them in my Credit Report.  I am not answering their call as I know who it is and what the subject is.  The subject is a billing dispute and they are not following the proper (legal) procedure in resolving it to close the matter.  I am filing complaint with Federal Trade Commission and State Attorney General's Office a***nst both Sears and Citibank.Disgusted

I've been called three times from this number, once on Sunday.  I would like to know who this is and why this person/company is calling my home.

I called this # and was told "call may be monitored or recorded for training purposes" waited on hold till a woman answered then she asked me for my name but I refused to give it, then she said they are calling about my sears account; which I have one, but haven't used it in 3 years or so may not even be active and I paid it off, she asked me why I was calling and I told her I was trying to find out why all theses calls and no messages and she said Sears account andI told her I don't have an account with Sears and she said "OK gimme your number we have been calling and I can get it removed from our database for you, so the calls will stop." I said no I will just let it keep ringing and not answer till yall get tired of calling and give up  and I ***g up . WORD TO THE WISE -DON'T CALL FROM THE NUMBER THAT THEY ARE CALLING YOU AT !Or they will never give up calling You !

They call me constantly and I don't have anything to do with either one of them.  I have been in a Sear ONCE in my whole life and only go into Home Depot if I am forced to.  So why are they calling and WHY won't they leave a message.  So****ing has got to be done!

this number calls my cell phone several times a day but if it is sears we are current on our account they don't leave a message and when I try to call the number back i am put on hold for ever. i want them to just stop calling my phone

They have been calling my cell up to 10 times a day.  S****ing at 6:30 and some nights until 10:00.  I don't answer because I don't know the area code and I thought it may be some kind of scam.  I'd like to get their home number or cell and call them for a few days.  All my cell shows is the number and like I said if I don't know the number or at least the area code I do not answer or call back.  If I wanted to talk to them I would have their number stored and I would call them.  You would think that they would get the picture that I am not going to answer.

They call on everyday of the week and any time of the day.  The thing is if they would just check their records they would find out that the bill is paid. It is illegal for them to call on Sundays and that seems to be their favorite day to call.

This appears to be Citibank for either Sears or Home Depot card. They are obnoxious.
