Says it is not a Sales call. and to call them back at 1-800-522-8999. It is supposedly a collection agency for Sears Credit card. I have never in my life had a Sears Credit card! I think its a scam to get info from people!

Keeps calling and calling and calling--it is now a***nst the law in TEXAS to automatic call multiple numbers. We will not answer for Citi Bank-Sears when we do not owe anything on their account. So Citi Bank you got my money from Stimulus--try stuffing your Arche with some of it and cut out all bonuses--the little man made it possible not you!People contact your govt. and the govt czar over their company. Repeated calls my mother who has Alzheimers Disease to tell her her account is past due. Sears has been given a correct number to call. They call her numerous times a day, 7 days a week.

This is a***nst Federal laws, they have no right to call anyone 10 times a day. File a complaint on the Better Business Bureau and this will get their attention. Federal law states that the only form of communication in the United States is the United States Postal service, UPS, or Fedex.  You never hear the IRS calling people or the Police dept call you!

How can we stop them ???? Does anyone have any info that works on stopping them from calling 10 times a day ???

Call numerous times each day.. Never speak when I answer. Never lave a voicemail when I don't P/U. If it is Sears then it must be telemarketing since my account is never past due and I pay automatically online.

It about a Sears account past due. I missed a payment, set up an online account to pay it, and I had to wait 6 business days before I was allowed to pay online. During that 6 days (plus weekends in between), they called about seven or eight times a day. I got ahold of a human about the tenth time I called the number back, and she promised they would stop calling.

The number has called twice while I was out. I tried calling and got an automated message: I didn't need to dial a 1. I tried without the 1 and got another automated message that I needed a prefix for a phone message system. I tried a***n and got a fax line. From seeing other Websites, people are saying it's Sears/Citibank. I have no accounts with either of those companies. Sunday was the first time I've gotten the calls.

I just filed a complaint with the FTC about them today. They call at least 6 times a day. They won't stop calling! They laugh and **** up, and argue with me when I tell them to stop calling. I even read them the rules from the FDCPA and they stated it did not apply to WV. The rules apply to everyone in the U.S.

Actually talked with a person, most of the time there is ***ody on the other line. I asked where they were calling from, they said it was a personal business matter, and then wanted the last 4 of my social. As soon as i s****ed asking more questions they ***g up on me.

These people call every evening. I think they're trying to sell credit card ins. They lead you to****ume that they're a ligimate credit card co.

336-522-8999 has been calling my number for a couple weeks now, several times a day, everyday. It is so annoying. I never pick it up. They once left a creepy message, a male voice just saying "pick up your phone." Caller ID says the number is in North Carolina.Please make them stop!

get calls all day.  yes****ay they actually left a number to call.  Called and they said they were Sears and that "they hadn't called"  I said you called just ten minutes ago.  She still insisted she hadn't called.  She said my account is up to date ( I haven't been to Sears in years) and that she would put a note with my account that I had "returned" their call.  That was yes****ay, it is only lunch time today and they have called three times already. I have recently had the please of this number calling at least 5x a day. They never leave a message! I do have a citibank card, but in the past they have always left a message.

I have been receiving calls on my cell phone for a week. Multiple calls daily at all hours. A message is never left and I don't answer if I don't know the caller. If they have business with me they can leave a message and I can return the call.

I have been getting calls from them for the last few months. Since some people have idenfied that it might be citibank, i called them and asked to verify the number. they said the number does not belong to them, and in general, any call from a bank or financial ins***ution should originate from a 1800 or 1888 number.

I have gotten 5 calls today from 336-522-8999. Many over the past 2 weeks. NO ONE has ever left a message. You'd think if it were a business matter or credit agency they'd leave at least 1 message the past 2 weeks.I do NOT have a Sears card but do have Citibank. Citibank has left messages in the past when I have not been home at 11am or 2:30pm because I am at work until 7pm sometimes.

They called and said that I owed 100 plus dollars on my credit card. All my accounts are always up-to-date.

I am getting 4 and 5 calls a day with no message.  Returned a call to the number and they demand to know my Sears acct number - and say that my payment is past due.

I'm getting 6-7 calls a day (from both the 8998 and 8999 numbers) and I have no Sears or Citigroup accounts not do I owe anybody money. There's got to be a way to stop these idiots. If they have a telephone number, then they can be tracked down. Someone out there in cyber****e must know how to do this.
