Oh, and I forgot to add... this number was stolen and LOOKS to be from the Winston-Salem area when in fact it is coming through the internet by so****ing called VOIP (do a Google search) and these type of calls would stop for good if people just refused to answer calls that ARE NOT in their personal list (or directory) on their own phone. WAKE UP PEOPLE AND DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM OUTSIDE YOUR OWN STATE!

When I see a comment below that reads "Why doesn't the DNC list work" I realize there are people out there who don't understand that DNC only applies to legit businesses. The call from this number 336-714-0399 is NOT from a real business but most likely a Nigerian or Russian thief who uses fake phone numbers via the internet to rob idiots who fall for their scam, which is often "Hey, you won tickets for an ocean cruise and we can send them by Federal Express but you need to pay for the overnight package. We can send them to you now if you give us your credit card details." Or they will offer you a very cheap rate for a vehicle extended warranty or some other lie. Anyone who answers a call from outside an area code that they do not live in, nor have any contacts for, is just asking to become a victim of IDEN***Y THEFT. Next time you get a call from some odd part of the USA, don't answer it! Let it go to voice mail and if they are legit, they will leave a message. If you don't get a message or if you get one that is su****ious, do what I do with my iPhone and BLOCK THE CALLER.

Why doesn't DNC list work? I have gotten several calls from these types of businesses that apparently are survey-type calls.

Went to the website that someone had managed to find out. Called their 800 number under contact us. Selected prompt for their call center. I reached someone immediately. I kindly asked them to remove my number and they kindly did just that. They were very courteous.

I got a call from this number, didn't answer and tried calling back but didn't get a ring tone.  I heard a****or that it might be Camel rep, I did give them my number so it's possible it could be them.

9:45PM call. Don't people realize that some people go to bed early because they work??

Caller ID say's Opinion Counts. This is only a out bound number. You can not call them back. They said that they were from the elec. co. Ya right. Were is that do not call list.

CALLER ID: OPINION COUNTS Why are they calling? Called and did not leave message. We do not answer to any solicitor, survey, charities, or any one we do not know!!! Hope they stop calling!! We are on the DNC list!!!

They've been calling my son's cell phone for two weeks. Can't call back. Just like everyone here, I know where the call is comming from but I found some more info on another site that it is a market research mafia and this is their website http://www.bellomyresearch.com/. It's likely that this group conducts surveys for numerous companies (cigs, gas, etc.).

They have called my old number a few times; I just so happen to be friends with the current # owner. They ask for me then **** up when told I don't live there anymore.

Same deal. has called me in the past, but this time 2 days in a row at the same time-5:30pm. doing my best to answer next time.

1st time I think that numberz called me.. the call waz at 7pm I didnt answer searched the number on here, read the one other complaint and decided to call it back.. It didnt ring or anything..weird.. I tried like 4 timez.. so idk

I had two calls from this number which I chose not to answer.  If she really is conducting a survey for that Gas Company (as a previous reporter was told) - why would she be calling me in Oklahoma.  I'm certainly not a customer of her North Carolina gas company. The number is listed as a landline and I don't know anyone in that area.

The woman that called said she was conducting a survey for Piedmont Natural Gas (I am a customer of theirs). I said I was not interested and ***g up. Oh, by the way, she called twice in a row. The first call (3 rings), I did not answer. Her second call (about 10 seconds later), I did answer.
