I rarely share my phone number. I did with a man claiming to be from the New York/ New Jersey area and was physically packing that do to move to Texas soon. I immediately s****ed to get texts from a NY area code inviting me to coffee. I made the mistake of responding and he claimed to be my dress designer and sent a generic dress drawing. (I have not commissioned a dress and would not have paid custom for a dress that looked like off the rack 10 years ago from Macy's.) I did not answer and 10 days later received another invite to coffee and BLOCKED. Today I received a text saying "Did the coffee guy still answer your messages?" Clearly the same person now scamming on a new number.
