Leave a CommentI told him I knew his scam, he did not argue, he just ***g up.
Thick Indian Accent called telling me my computer was going to stop working because of viruses, and asked if my computer was running, I told him no, told him he was a fraud, and he argued with me. I ***g up
Said my computer has been infected with viruses that is going to make my computer crash. Told him he was a scam artist and he insisted that he wasn't. ***g up, called the number back, and got a busy signal.
Microsoft spamster scammer!!!
trying to fix errors on my computer...scam!!
NOW BLOCKED FOREVER!
Trying to get into my computer to fix a "virus". ***g up after that.
received a call from 347-227-600 / Sam ID 149 / Global Svc/ Stated my computer was infected. Also stated he was a Windows 10 Tech representative and s****ed me on connecting with his company. I ***g up on him
Got call, also Indian descent/accent saying my computer had viruses and was sending messages. I had just gotten of a remote call with another Tech company helping me with software. I almost thought it was them calling back. He wanted access to my computer to "Help Fix" the problem. I felt su****ious, his number did not show, he was not very nice and trying to push me. I asked for his number because it did not show on the phone. He gave it to me, said it was a satellite number that's why it didn't show. When I googled it all I got was he was a Sprint Mobile Customer, not a business. I told him I had someone else who could run any fixes needed and he kept telling me others couldn't do it, only him, so I basically got rid of him. Just didn't feel right.
I fixed a computer for someone a week ago and they called me today saying that someone told them their computer is sending out "error codes" and theyI redid a computer for someone a week ago and they called me today saying that there is this guy on the phone from some Windows service center and told them their computer is sending out "error codes." He said they told him to look at the "back end" and see the errors. (Windows event viewer with the red errors that just about every windows install has.) I was like horrified thinking maybe I managed to infect the computer with some trojan from some software I installed! I was so shocked I was asking him if he is referring to the computer I just fixed for him. I told him to tell the guy on the phone that his computer tech guy wants to talk to him. The guy on the phone tried to avoid that but he insisted. So I called this number 347-227-6900 and a woman with an indian answer with a company name "Windows computer tech" I think. I ask for Peter at extension 137. He indian too. I ask where they are located, he says in Arizona. I wanted to know how he got my client's phone number. He said that when you buy a computer there is an ID and this goes into a database with all your info. Well to make a long story short, he said they would need $150 to fix the errors through remote. I said what if this isn't done? He said well your friend will see what happens in a few days! I said that sounds like a threat! But that didn't phase him. It was only when I mentioned the FBI that he ***g up. I recorded the whole conversation... I guess there is no way to stop them since those phone numbers probably end up in india...
This is a phishing call. They claim they can fix a "hacker" attack on your computer. from other who called me type sites it sounds like they ask for $70 -$150 to fix your site.
THIS IS A BIG SCAM , HE CALLED FIRST AND ASK HE WANTED TO GET INTO MY COMPUTER .
I got a call from this number, as other post claims, i highly doubt it is a scam, but anyone have evidence? i am not planning to call him back, by the way, he said his name is mike Paul.
Scam call from man with accent claiming my Windows OS is infected. Told him we were having storms and asked for a call bald number in case we got disconnected. After I got he number I played along. Finally after faking a bunch of mouse clicks, the tech, named Leon Hall, asked me what I saw… In my most slacked jawed tone of voice I told him I saw a shiny apple at the bottom of my monitor… he yell, "what?) then, "You sir are a f@@@ing idiot, and ***g up."
Received the call about 8:19 pm on 4/5/14. He said he was calling about my computer from Windoe Service Center (347-227-6900). Told him I would call him back but, of course, I won't.
