This guy called me and said the exact same thing. He said he will launch an investigation if i did not call him back.
Received calls from scammers calling from "state department of investigations" asking for money Or cops will be at your door this is a scam to take whatever money you can get your hands on. And they want you to purchase a green dot prepaid card and mail it to them. BEWARE senior citizens! And anyone else. Seems like a call center overseas. Someone should shut them down.
