Rob Taylor called and left me a very nasty message stateing that I would lose my job if I do not contact him asap.

Just received the same type of phone call from this # 000-00-0000 and left me a voice mail threatening that I will lose my job.  When I called back I was unable to understand the man - he sounded Indian barely spoke English and was talking really quickly.  He said I took out a loan online and that he was from a legal department.  I told him I never took out a loan from his company on line and he ***g up the phone on me......just proved to me this was a total scam.....DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR INFORMATION.....THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!

i received a call from ACS as well at work.  The name of the alleged collector was "Carl Peterson" very heavy indian/****stani accent.  this isn't the first call i have received from them.  i was a victim of iden***y theft over a year ago.  they called my cell not five minutes earlier with a 000-00-0000 number which of course i do not answer.  then when they call my office i advise them that i do not work there anymore, and that i will try to get the message to her.  he states that she needs to call immediately, giving me personal information even though i claim i am not the person, which in itself is illegal to give out personal information to anyone other than the person it is intended for.  on top of that when i advise them they are calling a law firm and that a complaint will be filed for harassment he screams at you and ****s up on you.  Boy i think i am scared NOT................

Called my work number asking for somebody I know - butchered the person's name, say his name was Carl Peterson, only problem was his accent testifying a***nst him - sounded ****stani or indian. ID his place as ACS Law. All these numbers show up as a NYC number. Obviously a SCAM.

I recieved a call from an indian gentleman who introduced himself to my co worker as ***d Williams.  She put him in my voicemail, but he did not leave a voicemail.  He called back and asked to speak to my supervisor, which he left her a voicemail identifying himself as James Johnson and stated that he I was pressing fraud charges a***nst the company I work for and please call him back.  She did but she found out it was a lie and gave me the note.  The phone number on the note was 347-457-3022.

recvd a call who repeated msg twice , neither time could i really make out a whole lot. So****ing about the legal dept and net notice if i dont call witll be to my job amd get me fired? ok well im a federal employee so get your facts straight. I urge everyone to report , sounds like a scare tactic scam to me. I tried to call back hours later and to no surprise got no answer back

Yeup.. just got the exact same call for my husband. We had one a few weeks ago, from another company, same kind of thing. However, they didn't just call us, they called my mother who lives 1300 miles from us. These are all scams, and people should be careful and not give out ANY information. If it was legit, they wouldn't be contacting you via telephone.. it would be with certified mail. Just another scare tactic from either a bill collector or a scammer. Be careful out there.

Howdy.Same deal here.  I got a call from a very non-anglo sounding "David Warner" from what he called the "Criminal Investigation Bureau".  He claimed that I have a legal issue and have some payday loans out there that have gone unpaid.   I have "several" lawsuits a***nst me as well.  I asked for do***entation or verification, and all he said was that I had taken a loan with "Cash Advance USA", and they were now suing me.  While I have used online payday loans in the past to get past a rough patch, I paid them back.  I later found out that some of these higly ethical businesses sell your info to foreign scanners.  They call and say you took out a loan from some generic but plausible sounding site name, i.e. "Cash Advance USA".  I called them out on the scam and didn't hear from them for a month or so.  Now they are calling me a***n.  Is there anything I can do about this?  I've saved all the voice-mails, etc.

I keep getting harrassed at work by this company. They have even told my boss that there is a lawsuit a***nst me and that I need to contact them right away. I have no payday loans pending, but I did apply for one a while back on line and got *****ed, and had to go throuhg a lot reclaiming my bank account back and I had not even accepted any loans. So I know this is BS.

I just received a call from someone named "Adam White" from a company called ACS (347-457-3037, the number "Adam White" left me).  Although the number that came across my cell was +000000000...hmmmm.  In the message he left, he said he it was a legal matter and they have an affidavit a***nst my name and social and that I need to call them.  This isn't the first time I've received calls like these.  From what I've been told, these are SCAMS and don't give out any information.  I've also been told if you ever took out a payday loan, they are using that information.

These people continue to call me at work and threatens me. When I answered the phone  and they asked for me, I took a name and number and portrayed to be someone else, This person "Johnnie Davis" proceeded to give personal info about myself  even tho I stated it wasn't whom he asked for.

SCAM...SCAM...SCAM...I have filed with my state attorney general's office, the local police and with this guy from homeland security named Doug Zloto.  I am keeping a log of everytime they call and trust me they will call from multiple numbers and I am saving every one of the voice mails per instructions from my attorney generals office!  This is low life s***...times are hard enough and I have had enough!

This number (347-457-3022) called my friend. They had some of my most personal information. They had my social, my mailing address, date of birth. They told my friend they were going to come after him if he didn't have me call them. Then, they call me and threaten me! They said there is an outstanding lawsuit a***nst me for a payday loan. They claim they are from ACF, a law firm in New York, representing the payday loan company. Finally, they tell me, in broken english, that I have two options. I can either pay the full past due balance (they never told me what it was) OR I will see them in court and end up behind bars.

I have received several calls from this company who claim I took out a pay day advance loan on line! They leave messages in a language in witch I do not understand! I don't have any pay day loans out at all. This is a scam and do not give them any information.

They called my work too claiming it was a legal; matter and that i also owed money for loans which i never took out.. They also told me that i have 3 lawsuits a***nst me. dont know what they are talking about

They leave a name of David Walker from ACS threating my job and me claiming it is a legal matter, also they are foreign and you can barely understand them, this is my third call from them, the first time I just ***g up.  I forgot, the only time I talked to them they told me I owed for a loan I got on line from somewhere, I know it is not true, that is why I ***g up on them.
