Got a threatening email saying exactly the same thing. Says I have a loan past due with them for over $2,000 which is not true. Just weird.

They threaten to have the government put a hold on your SS# (really...?). They threaten to take you to court by phone calls and email...no registered letters sent or received. They threaten to contact your employer and your bank. For repayment of a loan not owed.......
ACS Inc about a non-existing payday loan. When you return their calls, they threaten you to verify your ss# or they will sue you. Never give your ss# to anyone over the phone.
