Called at 6:30 AM MDT, the guy sounded more like one of those Albanian ****s from the "Taken" movies. Said he was with the Dept. of Legal Affairs, US Treasury. I told him my name was John Smith and would he like to have my SSN? He ***g up on me.

Office of US Legal Affairs. BS. "John Marshall" with a very heavy foreign accent. These people are crooked and need to be stopped.

Left a voicemail on my landline with a message for my husband. Guy said he was "Nick Anderson" from the "Department of Legal Affairs". He said there was pending legal action a***nst my husband and he needed to call 347 535-0959 right away as it was a very important issue. He also suggested that my husband have his lawyer present when he called. Never called the number, this is not how you would find out about legal action a***nst you; also checked out number online to see what was up with it. Filed a complaint with the FTC, you should do the same if you are checking out this number: FTC.gov

Person with heavy indian accent called saying they were from "Department of Legal Affairs" and that the was action a***nst me and to call back with an attorney. This scam has been reported before numerous times.
