Received call from "Melvin Patrick" or "Melvin Belchick" on home phone. Claimed to be from "crimes investigation of IRS". Sought call back re: investigation of tax fraud. Left a call-back number of 202-864-1255. Number on call ID was 347-559-0378. Caller had accent and bad English.

This operation called twice today (6/5/14). He used the name Melvin Betchick. The call back number used this time was (202) 864-1255.

This guy called my house at exactly 7:31 AM, from ' Staten IS NY, 1-347-559-0378. He claimed to be from IRS, and s****ed threatening my family, saying that we hadn't paid our taxes since 2008. My mom was pleading with him, because it sounded so real, but we've paid our taxes. We're loyal citizens, and have never gotten a call like this. It was horrible to hear, because he was saying he was going to arrest my mom, and take away our house, if we didn't give him $5,000. That's when we s****ed noticing that it didn't sound real. But after he rudely ended the call saying "I'm not going to call back" , another number called us at exactly 8:14 AM that the caller ID showed up as 'Unknown name and Unknown number'. This guy, which I now****ume was the same as the last, s****ed saying how we had to go to court in less than 45 minutes, and how the police had received a phone call from the IRS, stating we were frauds. He also said he was going to send the police. I can't explain everything that happened but it sounded so real. Then after the Unknown caller ended the call, the old number which a***n is, 1-347-559-0378 , left a voice mail claiming he was 'Sebastian' and telling us the IRS was on our case. We live in Glendale Heights, IL so just to let you know, if you receive a phone call from this number, DO NOT FALL FOR IT. As I learned, It is a scam. He's a horrible person to do so****ing like this, and scare loyal citizens.

It's a scam. They call from 347-559-0378, leave a message and ask you to call 888-855-7249 so you are not arrested. The guy with Indian accent says his name is Brian O'Conner. Don't fall for it.

Received voicemail stating they were the IRS and we have issue with our taxes and need to contact them at 1-888-855-7251 to deal with the issue. Received a recorded message from this number saying that he's from the IRS and if don't call back you will be arrested and go to jail. 3475590378. He states he is from Tax Audit department of IRS. 05/08/14

Received a call from 347 559 0378 and the name is Franklin Benjamin saying there is a problem with my tax being fraud. so to call the #888-8872003 to avoid from going to federal claims court or from being arrested.

Yes I got a call from them even today. I don't know how to block them

The same voice mail I received several times over the period of last 6 weeks. Most of Federal claims court house or before you get arrested by County Sheriff's. Received a call from them saying that there is a problem with my income taxes and to avoid arrest I was suppose to call another number! Jokes on them, I haven't filed yet and the last few years I've paid in.
