Leave a CommentI got the same call from 213-141-5163, but a different call back number 323-709-3121. I couldn't understand the name Officer so****ing, robocall, foreign accent. I will be blocking all three numbers since you all were kind enough to list the call back number you were given. You would think the IRS has enough fraud within it's own departments that they would want to stop OUTSIDE scams.
Phone call saying the IRS has been trying to reach me, and, this is the final warning before they file suit.
A***N THEY CALL ME TO TELL ME THJE IRS HAS A LAW SUIT A***NST ME WHEN I CALL FROM A DIFFERENT # THEY ANSWER RIGHT AWA, THE REAL IRS DOES NOT DO THAT. THEY HAVE AN ACCENT AND I TOLD THEM THAT I DON'T HAVE A SSN BUT INSIST ABOUT THE LAW SUIT.AT THE END THE TOLD F U
Got a call from 213-141-5163 which left a voicemail telling me that I was being sued by the IRS (which is completely laughable!). Was instructed to call 347-637-6194. I called (because I wanted to mess with them) and a man with an Indian accent answered. He asked for my name and telephone number. I told him that I wouldn't give it out and that he was SPAMMING people and what he was doing was ILLEGAL. He ***g up on me. I called back and an Indian woman answered and told me that I have the wrong number. HA HA! What a joke.
Yes I received the same call having call back the 317-637-6194 number. I began to argue with him and told him I was going to send The Cops To His Place and he ***g up on me. I then called several time to tell him I was tracing the call. These guys are the ultimate. I hope No one gets scammed by these guys. Has anyone filed a complaint? Where did you file? Hopefully they deleted my number.
This is one senior who knows a scam when she hears one. CG voice, did not use my name, the IRS does NOT contact taxpayers in such a manner. PLEASE use your gut instinct and don't respond. These no job low life's get off on your responses. YES I am SHOUTING at my fellow seniors. DO NOT GIVE THEM THE SATISFACTION OF A RESPONSE!!!!!!!
This is the 3rd time I have received a call from 213-141-5163 which is the robo call telling me the IRS has filed a lawsuit and to call 347-637-6194. The first time I called about 3 weeks ago, a woman answered and gave me the whole story about the lawsuit the IRS has filed. Did I purposely defraud the IRS.. how do I want to handle the situation... Clearly it was a scam so I insulted her until she ***g up. I received another call today from the same 213 # telling me to call the same 347#. This time I got a man who identified himself as an IRS agent and advised me a lawsuit had been filed and was I aware of it. I told him this was the same scam from 3 weeks ago and was hoping he had a better story for me. He ***g up. I called back 4 more time. Got a woman once who told me I had the wrong number then got the same man the other 3 times. He kept answering the phone as an IRS agent and I kept telling him he was a ***** and a few other things about his race and occupation and each time he ***g up. It is surprising the authorities can't find them since they always answer the phone. At the very least, have some fun with it. Can't believe people actually fall for this.
They can't speak English so they use a computer voice. To bad people fall for this.
ok so we all have received this call from a bunch of ****** foreigners. Why doesn't our government do so****ing? get there****es over to the bronx and clean these *******s out.
Received electronic message on my cell phone from (non-human) male voice stating he was an "officer", that he was from the "Internal Revenue Service", that this was a "final contact" as they had been trying to reach me (which they had not) and that they were "filing a lawsuit a***nst" me.
Another scammer, stated they are filing a lawsuit and stated to call 347-637-6194 for more info. Of course, I will not call that number, will block this number and the number on voice mail: 213-141-5163. So tired of these scammers.
Yes - just what people are saying - a scam. Automated robot voice. Rat *******s!
received pre recorded non human voice saying to call 347-637-6194. The actual call came from 213-141-5163. The message said I was being sued by the IRS and needed to call them immediately. Long story short, I actually spoke to some middle eastern man and refused to give him any of my info, he was MAD and began yelling at me saying I was going to jail & he was sending the cops over RIGHT NOW! I said "GOOD, i'll be waiting for them with our conversation that I just recorded"!! He ***g up. It's a scam folks, don't fall for it. I am turning it over to the proper authorities
Yes, I just got the recorded phone message telling me the IRS was calling me with a final notice because they are suing me. Tried calling back and recording said due to high call volume they couldn't answer to please call back
These all seem to have different phone numbers. I've gotten several of these over the last few months. Also, different names like John Carter, Officer John, Officer (no name), Becky Klaus, etc. They all say they have a lawsuit a***nst me from the IRS. One, which really sounded like a recording, and said it was Officer (no name), said this was my final notice, and called twice. Sounds like they don't know the meaning of "final" if they'd get my name twice. This last time, the phone number on the caller ID was, (213)141-5163, even though the recording gave me the above phone number.
These people are lowest of the low life on this planet. They are mostly calling from overseas. With the technology there is, someone or FBI should be able to track them down. There was a guy convicted for such a scam in 2015 in New York, and sent to prison for 175 months or so. Why then these calls are still continuing!!!!!!
SCAM ALERT! They stated a lawsuit was filed a***nst me. I know the IRS does not CALL people - plus I have always filed and paid my taxes - but I called back & told them I had reported their phone number. They ***g up on me.. ha ha! Don't fall for this scam!!
They said they had a lawsuit a***nst me and this was the final notice!
Called saying lawsuit filed. BIG TIME SCAMMER. Middle east accent. Traced number, bogus. Called him back and he was irritated why my number does not show. Very rude. Preys on old people. GET A DECENT JOB. You are a disgrace to your race!
Who do these losers think they are? They prey on seniors and try to scare them into sharing financial information. They claim to be the IRS and****ert that they have a lawsuit a***nst you for tax filings that don't match theirs. They also claim to come and take your bank account, home, and will come arrest you...and other B.S. Do not give them any information. Do not bother returning their calls.
Received a call indicating they were from the IRS and had filed a lawsuit. I know that the IRS wouldn't reach out by phone so I'm sure as the other comments have indicated that it is a SCAM
Called back a***n. Said Law Offices of Jack Smith, IRS. They asked for my name. I told them to identify me by my phone number to see if they reached the correct person. They asked another question and I replied with "who the***** are you?" They ***g up.
I received a call stating that they were the IRS and had filed a lawsuit. I am a tax attorney. The IRS does not notify you by phone or email; solely by mail and/or by personal visit. When I called, they stated they were the law offices of Dennis Anderson (I hope not, because if so, he is a lying thief.) The ***g up and when I called back stated they were the IRS.
I also received two calls, they are coming to arrest me, being a senior it made me sick.
Left a message stating that he was with the IRS and this was the last notice that the IRS had filed a lawsuit a***nst me.
