After waiting approx 30 seconds a lady came on trying to sell me life insurance. When I said "no thanks" she immediatly responded "oh no I am not trying to sell you anything, we just want to give you a no obligation quote...."

I also received a call from this number on my cell. Who do I report them to if it's illegal to call my cell? I didn't take the call.

They called my cell number and thats why i switched to a cell so i wouldnt be bothered by advertising i hope they get in trouble

My husband was called by this number. He sat on hold and the hold message said it was Allstate. He had an argument with the caller about being on the no call list. This woman had a horrible accent and said she had to investigate his claim of being on the DNC list! What do you need to investigate? He said he's on DNC, that should have been the end of it! No company should be calling a cell phone number. It is illegal and the company can be fined up to $10,000 per call. This company will be reported to FCC.
