Victor ********called me from 347-788-3000 and told me that my ssn is under investigation, the company was National Affidavit Processing Services. After investigating who this company is, I have no intention of calling them back. I will file complaints with the FTC, my cell provider, and the National Do Not Call registry. Hopfefully, if enough people file official complaints, this will stop

I have not called this number back I wanted to know what it was all about prior to doing this. Is everyone sure this is a scam, i still do not know why John Smith is calling me. Yeah he is for sure not a John Smith!!!!!

called with heavy indian accent claiming they are arresting me. could not understan his language!

These people have been calling me and my family for serveral weeks.They have called my family stating that I have committed fraud and i'm going to jail for using their ssn. I called the local authorities and rec all calls.

They called me and told me I also owed $300 from a Cash Advance loan in June of 2008. I never took out such a loan. They had my social and my mothers address. In addition they had my bank information. They left me 17 messages on a cell phone number I use rarely. The guy threatened to send me to jail and said that I was going to be taken to court. He had a think Indian accent and tried to get me to pay him money as part of a settlement with this cash advance company. I only later found it that he was a scam artist when I found this website. Thank you God!

They called me about an online friend of mine. They only way they could have even known we were friends is from orders he sent me from NewEgg. Either NewEgg.com or their delivery service must have a breach, wondering if anyone else has used NewEgg?

THEY ARE SCAMING PEOPLE TO GIVE INFORMATION SO THAT THEY CAN STEAL THEIR IDENTIY ....LOOK UP THE WEBSITE THAT THEY CLAIM TO WORK FOR ITS A VISA IMAGRANT WEBSIT...THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMING DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION...FILE COMPLAINT WITH FBI AND GET THESE PEOPLE OFF THE STREETS....

they called me and said that i had made a loan in june 2008 for $300, and they told me the name of my bank, but the bank that they told me was the bank that i just opened a few months ago in 2009, then they asked me about my job, and to go into detail about it because they new that i work in the military

A person has called me from this number and my familt several times.he has called me names and cursed me out. They are trying to collect money that is not owed to them.

These people also called my phone it is scary how much info they have on me.  They told me that i too had a cash loan from a online payday loan company called CashNet.com. Which is a complete lie i have never even applied for a loan online.  He threatened me and said i would be in big trouble.  How worried should i be since these people have my ssn#, name, bank info, ect.   I know they are a scam and what steps should i take?

These people called me looking for a friend on mine. They told me she was going to be arrested by the end of business that day if they did not hear from her. I called her at work. They even had the nerve to call her job and talk trash to her on the phone. Please DO NOT REPLY OR WORRY ABOUT THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE A JOKE AND A TOTAL SCAM!!! I will call the police a***n if they call me looking for her or anyone else I know for that matter!!!

There is a person who is leaving threatening messages on my voicemail.  When I called them I asked who they were and why they were calling, he replied that they were not a company but that attorney's were working here.  I asked for the attorney's identification and they ***g up on me.  I called a second time and informed them that my number is on the National Do Not Call Registry and he ***g up on me a***n.I am filing a complaint with the FTC and their state  attorney general's office.  And if these threatening phone calls do not stop I seek to fill criminal harassment charges a***nst the individual who is leaving these abusive and threatening calls on my voicemail as I do have these on tape.

If you receive a call from 347-788-3000 please be warned that this is a scam!! A man with a very thick Indian accent who goes by the name of Shane Watson, Milson, Paul ***t, etc., etc. will tell you that you're being investigated for fraud because you have refused to pay back a payday loan to a company called "Cashco, Csh at Once, or Advance Cash" (Just some of the names they have used.). This man will also tell you that if you do not agree to pay the debt immediately then you will be arrested within 24 hours. They will know your social security #, the name of your bank, and may even have the names and phone numbers of two of your closest friends or relatives. DO not respond to these criminals. If you tell them that you know its a scam....they will become arrogant and will begin swearing at you. There are several blogs being organized to see if we can go after these guy*******og about your experiences go to [email protected]. Hope this info helps someone.

These people have been calling and harassing me for a few weeks now.  I retained a lawyer and recently filed a police report.  They constantly call threatening to have me locked up, loose my job and are very crude and rude with their comments.  They say I owe money that I don't, they have never even asked for it but keep calling my phone, one of my siblings and my employer.  Yes****ay the called my employer stated they were a judge and a man named John Smith was coming to arrest me.  This is ridiculous.  I am afraid at what they will do next.  They have very heavy foriegn accents and I am not even sure of their location.  They have my bank info and othe vital information.
