I have been getting the same calls. The "people" calling sound like the same ONE person - he has the same accent and*****ounces my name the exact same way but uses a different name. Whenever I begin to question him, he ****s up on me. Whenever he begins threatening me, I **** up on him. Someone please help!

i use to get these calls 2-3 times a day. first of all, if they have your ss #, call either one of the 3 credit bureau's, and tell them to put a fraud alert on you ss#. a fraud alert isnt anything a***nst you, it just basically red flags your ss#, and that means that you will be notified of every attempt to use that #. second, tell him/her or both (who ever calls) that the FDCPA requires, by federal law, that you recieve notice in writing before they make their ****** little threats. and by law they can only talk to you once a day, and only 1 voice mail message a day and the message cant be left after they have already called and spoke to you, or the debtor if you  arent the person thsy are looking for. hope it helps, good luck...oh, and unless you ask them to call your job, they cant unless that is the only way to reach you. if you tell them to stop calling any # other than your residence, they have to stop....

Yes I got her on my ma****e from a unknow number. Then it was  Mike forgot his last name but got it written down . He tld me I was being sued for a loan in nov saying they put 300 in my bank account and I never payed them back. Said they were going to sue me for 3,000 or if I send them 547 and some c****e they wouldn't sue n would settle outta court but I had to pay them that day. Ithought they were crazy so I called my bank with them on the line and back tld them no money was deposited into my account but the still continued to argue stating they gave me the money and would take me to court if I dnt pay. I tld them well I'll see u in court I have my proff and he ***g up .They have that thick funny fast tlking u can hardly understand what they r say voice .I'm reported them to FTC and in the process if writing a letter to the consumer protection division along with my proof of everything and leting them take it from there. I hope to put these annoying scams to an end once and for all. I also want to spread the word so that everyone will know that they r scammers and not fall for it or give them any money .

I'm so happy to find out that I'm not the only person with this   Situation. I'm totally fed up with these ppl. A mesage was left on my ma****e saying that this is Officer Justin Williams from the financial crimesinvestigationg department I was in trouble  a primary suspect n me or my attorny need to call himback @ 347-434-2529. They also said please dnt ignore the call and otherforceful things to call him back. I called the police who came out to my housen called him back. The so called Justin Williams answers the phone n couldn't evev give the police officer a badge number, or adress. He also stated he was located in Newyork but funny bcuz thenumber he called me from was a Washington,Seattle number 2063339999. Also  funny they never sent me any type of do***ention. Total Scam!!!!!!!! W***ver these ppl r they need to be put to a stop immediatly

I received a call on my cell phone #popping up as 0000 a female with a thick indian accent left a voicemail saying she is from a govt agency but I couldnt understand what she was saying, she was threatening me saying that someone I know used me as a referance and is in serious legal trouble if i want to avoid having my name on the legal do***ents then I need to advise this person to return there phone calls.  The return # they left is 347-735- 5135 I cannot beleive that they are able to call people and make such nasty threats who can I turn this # into so these peole can be stopped it seems others have turned it into the police with no such luck,

This guy Mr Brown just called my wifes cell number reporting she was in big trouble. She could not understand his broken english as he babbled on, so I advised her to **** up. He called back and I answered the phone to hear him complaining of her ****ing up on him. I advised him of him having the wrong number and ***g up. He called back twice and we never picked up the phone. On the third try he left a voice mail indicating she had lied abount some investigation and she was in big trouble. If she didn't return his call he would have someone at her place of employment in the moring to discuss this matter with her boss and she would be in "big trouble". Trouble is ................. she has been retired for a number of years and so have I. Sounds as if this guy is in BIG TROUBLE if he is ever caught.

I just received the same phone call and I answered the phone. I told him that "Scott" is no longer employed by this firm and they (Walter Jones) said that the investigator will be stoping by for questioning. He then said that someone from this firm has to appear in court and confirm that Scott has been employed by us before. I think it seems to be a bunch of **** Just to get someone scared enough to give them what they want.

I keep getting calls at work and at home from officer Patrick Clapper and/ or officer Dave so****ing saying they are from  financial crimes investigations. Theys say my property and I under investigation by the US government for two illegal acts: Fraud and theft by deception for not paying back a payday loan. They have a file number they spout off. They've given me a badge number and tell me I am in very serious trouble. They have called and threatened my boss and said she and my place of employment need an attorney as well, since I used them as a reference and they will also be sued and brought to court. I was told I have two options: take my chances and get an attorney to fight this in court or settle this immediately out of court. They sound very legitimate and intimidating at first. They know so much of my personal info like my ss# and birthdate. When I told them I don't owe anyone any money and will take my chances in court they become irate. They tell me officers will come the next day and drag me out of work in front of everyone and I will go to jail. This threat has happened on at least two occasions. Of course no one shows up at work...but they do keep trying to put the pressure on through my boss. I even told them to send their officers and I will go to jail to put an end to this. A***n they become angry and told me they will keep calling me at home and work either till I pay or am terminated...don't know if they mean ***** or lose my job or they drop the case. Most recently when I trie dto ask for verification of this debt and a***n I will fight it in court the guy told me he is about to make my life*****. Sometimes they call me six or more times ina row according to caller Id on my cell. HOW do I stop this...I have c****ed my home phone and so far...so good...two weeks now, but still calling my boss. I have reported them to the police...but that hasn't stopped them. They've been told not to call my job anymore..but still do. Can anyone offer help??????Please!

i just received 2 calls form this number. They didn't leave a message. Yes****ay i received a voicemail stating that i have a case a***nst me for an outstanding loan of $250 from an online loan company. They had my address,last 4 of my social and my account imnformation. I got a hold of a officer Justin Williams with a indian accent who gave me a wrong number to contact the so called company who loaned me money. WHAT A SCAM!!!!!!!

just got the call today, i new it was a scam but i listened.  he said he was officer patrick clapper badge #38195  said he was with the dept of financial services and i have 3 charges a***nst me.  i owe money to a company called CNM for $550.00 from and outstanding loan.  He had all my info expect my birth year was wrong.  I told him i check my credit report every 3 months and i know what is on it.  He asked me if i  have enrolled in fraudulant activity?  I said sir, i dont understand. he couldnt explain what he meant.I told him since he has all my info please send me do***entation i owe this money.

RECEIVING SAME CALLS FROM THE SAME PHONE NUMBER BUT THIS GUY SAYS HIS NAME IS OFFICER WALTER JONES WITH A FAX NUMBER OF 206-426-6718.

I have been receiving a few calls, but thought they got the point that I knew they were a scam.  But I unfortunately I got another call today. I work for the Federal Government so I know what the Federal Agency Office of Financial Investigation investigates.  When I stated that I work for the Federal Government, "Officer Scott Parks" asked me which agency, and I stated that if they really knew who I was and had a lawsuit filed a***nst me they would know who my employer was.  I proceeded to ask for his return phone number and the name of his Supervisor or Manager, at this point he stated he was the supervisor, so I insisted on the name of his Manager, he got aggravated and stated for me to come over to where he works and I could see for myself.  So I said I sure would, give me the address and I would be right over.  At this point he ***g up on me.

I had the same man called me on my home,work,and cell phone said the same thing he told all of you, he even called my manager and left a message stating that they were coming to lock me up for financial fraud..then he a week before that stating that if i won 7,000 from the us govrnment...this man been calling for a month now!!!! what can we do!!! the names they use is officer walker jones, derrick williams, officer thomas williams... he also told my manager that he was in new york city..

He does not like it when you scream as loud as you can into the telephone.

This indian guy keeps calling my cell phone and my work, and he has the wrong last name its not even me, he tells me i am a liar and he will embarass me..he just s****ed saying he was an officer and there is fraud on my social security number, he also puts my social security number on any voice mail, so i now have to file for a new one. Someone needs to stop this guy

Received a call from them today also, stating i owe them for a payday loan that was supposedly deposited to account that i have.  crazy thing is, no deposits ever made to this account.  this is a total scam!!!!

I have been getting the same calls. He has even called my work and boss told him not to call. He said this is in regards to a lawsuit and he would bring a lawsuit a***nst my company. Boss said to bring it on! This caller said my Social Security number is on hold and my residential address is being investigated! When i told him I was turning him into the Attorney's General Office he told me someone will be coming to my house! How can we stop this scammer???

A man with a heavy Indian accent calls w/threats of legal action due to an unpaid online loan (doesn't exist) he stated that he was calling from the Dept  of Financial Investigations and his name is Ofcr David Miller (fake).  He has also tried to run his scam using the name Norman Cooper calling from the Legal Department (?).  I advised him to stop calling and said that I was recording his call and reporting his ativity.  He ***g up and called back and states he will continue to call back.  He has now elevated to using offensive remarks

person from this phone number called about a debt which has been paid for over 10 years and now says we have a new debt as of May of this year from same business.  Person from this number advises he is with department of investigations and says he is with a division of the federal govt agency.
