they called my elderly parents, said I was in an accident and wanted money to keep me from being ****ed as I was "trying to escape" scene of accident.

Got the same text - that my son was in a car accident and went unconscious. What's the end game here?? You go out to a desolate gas station and get robbed or ****d or worse? If this call was made to the Mayors wife, you BET YOUR BUNS that they would be stopped, caught and incarcerated. So why is this still happening to average citizens? It's the same as saying "Known *****-house" --- if you KNOW it STOP it.

They left a text message same as everyone else. I replied and received an immediate call back. The guy on the other end said that a guy and a girl had been in an accident with one of his family members in a city I know very, very well(I work there). I ***g up on him saying I would call right back and called the family member in question, both of the family was ok. I tried calling back and got back to a unsetup cell phone vm box. One other note worthy thing, he sounded like he was in a call center or somewhere heavy in other people talking...

My boyfriend got a call & text from this number saying someone you know has been in a car accident I was really confused & worried I don't understand why someone would write that.

Now we all know that these dudes are going to get caught ! Number 1 " We are dealing with a bunch of empty vessels, they are using technology and you are surely going to get caught. Number two when the higher officials get a hold of them they are going to fold like a cardboard. Just PRAY EVERYONE THAT THE LORD pull the cover on them cause these is not FUNNY AT all. These pieces of **** called me during work and had the audacity to tell me that my brother ****ed there nephew. And that my brother was being investigated for a hit and run. I reported them to the NYPD and I will continue to fight to get them they are a bunch of con artist.. be careful

These are con artists. They text that your family was in an accident and to send money. Do not send money but call your local police.
