I received a call from 3479820316 claiming to be the internal revenue that I was being sued by the IRS. If this number is a scam why doesn't the IRS go after it and close it down. what they are doing is unlawful because the IRS does not contact you by phone. I think the IRS should be doing its job to protect the public thr public from scams like this

received a message stating that this was final attempt to reach me & that IRS would be filing lawsuit. Was only message/call ever received & researched number here and found several others getting same message. The IRS will contact you via MAIL ... NOT phone ... so I do not intend to return the call.

Said they were IRS and filing a lawsuit a***nst me. Did not have my information and they asked for name and address. To my understanding IRS has an 800 number.
