This person left a terrifying message on my phone about how I was going to jail if I don't call them back. They claim to be US Treasury and a man named James Paxton.

IRS Scammer!

Just received this same call. Thick Indian accent. Script intends to frighten caller. Says ignoring this phone call will be seen as intentionally not cooperating with the government. Of course, do not call the number. This is NOT how the U.S. Treasury works, at all. Most likely attempting to get a "payment" over the phone. I feel very badly for the old folks, who are primarily their victims. They are naive and trusting and motivated to pay their debts. I hate criminals.

Scam call claiming from the US Treasury Dept. I questioned matter of call. They wanted to verify my name which I did not. Was told that if I did not cooperated with the information and if I ***g up the US Marshalls would be sent to arrest me. They ***g up. I googled the phone number. I called them back, a***n they wanted to verify my name, I did not. I told them that I work for the Government, googled their number contact the Federal Government and that this is a scam call. They ***g up. Be careful everyone.

Just got a call from these idiot. Indian accent, from an automate system. I called this number, some answered with "US Treasure Dept." some "Legal Dept."; same accents, more men than women; background seem busy with other callers. They stopped pick up my call after I told them "scammers".
