Leave a CommentThis number called and didn't leave a message. I tried to call back but thre was just a busy tone. I am glad so many people have reported this as a scam. I have c****ed my automated greeting to be sure they cannot get my name from my voicemail.
this number keeps calling me...its clearly a scam as i dont have any outstanding credit balances or collections calls...how are they gettingmy number?
getting calls on my cell please quit calling
I've had calls from 352-688-3684, 352-684-1406, 352-688-3694, 352-688-3662, 352-688-3498, and 325-688-3611...2 a day since 11/23/08-today
I had 2 calls today and I didn't answer them. Are they calling on your cell phone or land line? The last comment mentioned AT&T and I just switched to AT&T cell service 2 weeks ago...if they are only calling cells, makes me wonder if they aren't getting our numbers from them.
Why is this happening? Isn't it kinda weird?
All they do it keep calling and **** up after the first few rings!
I dont know who this is.
I got a similar call ( from 352-684-1406) where they called my cell phone number and told me I had won a $1000 shopping spree. I could buy what I wanted but that I would need to chose five magazines and get charged $3.88 a week. But that they would for my convience charge me once a month. I told them I did not read any magazines and asked how they got my number. The women told me the publisher had provided my information. I told her I did not get any magazines. She then said she was new and that my credit card company may have provided the information because I was a good customer and paid my bills on time. Flattery seems to take people off the offensive. I told her no thanks so we ***g up. She did say there would be a shipping charge for trh tiems I would buy. She never asked for my credit card info but they may have been so****ing that could have come up later in the conversation. I had two more calls from that same area code (352-688-3611) but I could not answer. I called back and the line was busy.I think this is a scam. I called AT&T and notified them. They told me to call the "Do Not call" number and the calls should stop. They gave me a 800 number for do not call but it did not work. The web site to add you number to the do not call list is www.donotcall.gov.Andy

I am receiving the same type of calls from this number. I would love to find some way to put them out of business. It sounds like they're trying to steal iden***ies, but there's no proof yet. has anyone been asked for their ss#?
I have been receiving calls from 3526883611. When someone finally answered, after previous ****ups, the gentleman said he was from a publisher service and said that I have received a $1000 shopping spree and asked if I currently carried a visa or mastercard. I asked him who he was trying to contact and he just said w***ver has the phone number (he repeated my number). I then asked what is the name of the person you are trying to contact and he couldn't answer the question. I told him I wasn't interested and to take my name of the call list and he got an at***ude saying why wouldn't I be interested. Be very cautious about this.
I have been receiving calls from this & similar numbers for a few weeks now. No matter how quickly I answer, there is no body there. I try calling back & there is no answer.

This time, I answered and was told that because of my relationship with "the publishers," I was eligble for a $1000 online shopping gift certificate and 60 issue subscriptions to 5 national magazines (two of which, I alreay subscribe to, so they clearly weren't in league with the actual publishers). They told me that 3 were free, and 2 would be at a discounted fee of $3.83 a week, to be billed monthly. But their behavior and questions seemed very off. They were clearly in possession of my full name, my phone number, and my address. The first person, Danielle, failed to adequately answer my questions, claiming she was new. She said she couldn't give me a company name better than NCP, although she s****ed to say Nature Coast, and then corrected herself. She asked what I do for a living and my age, in order to help the publishers better target consumers. I was very skeptical, but she said there were no automatic payments and that some information would come in the mail. Then she told me her supervisor would call back to confirm some information. She said that the order had already been put through and that my order number was.... 1221. When the gentleman, Nathan, called back momentarily, he repeated the profession and age I gave the first person and asked what the name of my company was and what year I had been born. When I told him that I wanted more information from them before I was willing to give him the information, he said "This is just for the records. I could care less. For all I care, you can make so****ing up." When I continued to question him, he screamed "Ya' know what? We don't need your business," and ***g up on me. This is clearly and evidently not normal.
