Someone called me from this number and left a vocie message, that they are calling from the IRS. BS

Robo voice mail (female) saying I was being sued by IRS and call back for more info. Called and got the "Indian accent" male that seems so typical of these calls. He said IRS and I told him I was responding to v/m. He asked for my tel number to confirm. My number not blocked so not sure why he didn't know. I mentioned that and he repeated question. I put phone down til he ***g up. Common scam relate to this number per other sites I have visited. Also, read AARP article about various scams of "elderly." I fit the bill in some ways, but not sure if my age was a factor that prompted the call.

Man with Indian accent says he is with ID and I am being sued for $75,000. For back taxes. I told my brother In law and he called number and was ***g up 4 times and then said the call was being monitored by the D.O.J. and he would be sued.

Second call in two days--different numbers both from state of Washington. Fake IRS fraud call.

Received a call from this number for 2 years in a row. It is a fake IRS call. They threaten to put a freeze on your property and bank accounts because you owe money, even when you don't. Furthermore, they threaten to call the police to arrest you, if you don't give them your credit card information to pay the fake balance that you owe. Don't fall for them. They will continue to talk over you unless you ****-up.
