empty line, automated ma****e

After I picked up the phone, there was silence, then a short high pitched ping. Then an automated voice said to please stay on the line as "your call is very important to" then I ***g up. This setup happens when a ma****e dials several numbers at once and the person/s quickest to pick up the phone get the person.

Loud voices in background, some dude named John. Could clearly tell it was a scam. S****ed asking me right away personal information that has nothing to do with anything.

I called back the number-gave it as caller/agent with Quality Insurance.

Some kind of call center - could hear many voices in the background.

Told me to stay on line for an agent when I called back.

Called several times, no messages left.
