Just found out that this is a phishing scam! Do not text or call them! They are scammers pretending to be a credit union.

Received text message from 360-539-1752: "O-Bee CU Alert: Your CARD has been _LOCKED_. Please contact us at 360-539-1752. Callback #: 3605391752When that number is dialed, it rings and then ****s up! What is this?

I recieved same text...does anyone think it could be someone working for verizon or at its calling center just looking up numbers through the database? I used to work for them...sounds like it's a possibility.

My mom got the same text from this number and forwarded it to me as she thought it was meant for me since I am an OBEE member.  This is not's OBEE's phone number so googled the number and it brought me here.  Mom is a Verizon customer too - not sure if that makes any difference.

I to got the same text message and i am also a verizon customer. I received the text about 4 hours ago and i am not a member of that credit union, and i also live in Olympia WA. I called the number and all i got was a recording from a woman that barely spoke english, and they want you to open an account. It is obviously a scam and thanks to everyone else who has posted here, i now know that it is definitely a scam.

I received the same text message, so did my husband, we do not have any accounts at OBee C.U.  Was told to call 360-539-1752. This is for sure a scam!

can someone afford a search on the address attatched to that number and post their address here for me? I'm a landscaper and can't afford to pay for imformation this time of year but I can afford to go see them. I live here and this is not okay in my town.

i got this text too and dont even bank at o bee. I called the number and it sounded like they had old automated answering eqipment.creepy. I don't trust it at all.what is this? some email address? [email protected]

Got the OBEE text at 730PM on January 5, 2010. Not an OBEE customer. I wonder how they got my phone number...

just got the same text. I don't even have a account with O Bee. definitely a scam.

I got the same text a little while ago too.  I called Verizon and they don't seem to understand that it is a SCAM.  I am not a O Bee CU customer.  Annoying!

Same thing....O Bees Credit union..I have no card..Scam...Also reverse look up, they are listed in Olympia..address and everything...???

O'Bee Credit Union is in Tumwater, WA (Olympia Brewery Employees Credit Union). It looks like someone is sending that message to Verizon customers. I received it along with three of my friends, all of whom bank there and are Verizon customers as well. They called O'Bee and it is in fact a phishing scam, I had contacted my current bank and was also told it is a phishing scam.

I also got the same message... do have an account, do have an alert already from the Credit Union that this is a phishing scam... DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO!

Same message.  Never even heard of the company/credit union.  Very annoying, as I pay per text.

I just got a text from this number, with the same comment.  Tried to call back and was told the mailbox was full.
