Scam

Called indicating that I owed the IRS from previous years and that they had tried to contact me by registered mail several times. Since I didn't respond I had twenty-four hours to come up with $ 2,500 that need to be sent immediately or a warrant would be issued and I would be taken to jail. Watch out folks, these guys put on a pretty heavy act.......definitely a SCAM......

Voice mail. Robo-call from the "IRS" regarding my being taken to court. My take-away: "Robo" needs to learn what prepositions go with what prepositional phrases if they want to scare a writer.

Called me two times the same day. Stated the irs was filling a lawsuit and this was my final notice. they also had called a few weeks ago telling me the same thing.

pretending to be IRS

Scam trying to say they are the IRS. If the IRS was investigating you, you would receive notarized do***ents via trackable delivery (USPS, FedEx, UPS), not an automated voice message. Do not give them any info and disregard.

This number is a scam.
