Leave a CommentI am an owner of a dental practice and the people at this phone number have been calling us for the past few months. They continue calling because we refuse to give them all the personal information they request. They call themselves "Call Connect". I believe they have so****ing to do with advertising your business, but are not affiliated with any reputable phone company. (we have Qwest as our office carrier)."Ryan", the Indian-accented agent that calls us, wants my employees to state that they are authorized to make c****es to our telephone account, after they go through verifying our business information, etc. This has happen to my office before, but I am not sure it is the same company. A former front office person said she had the authority to make c****es to our phone account. The next month we had a $14.99 charge on our Qwest phone bill. I called Qwest and they told me that it was nothing related to them, and that I would have to contact the company directly, that they only bill thru the phone company. I contacted them and they did refund my money when I told them that Lindsey P****x was not authorized to make c****es to my account. (They had her full name since that was part of the questions that they asked). Be very careful the information you give out, especially if you are the agent for someone else. Your boss, like me, could end up paying for so****ing they never wanted.
I am very cautious about giving out information, so when they called the business I work for I inquired why they wanted my first AND last name. I told them that I was the only Anna at this business and they really shouldn't need my last name just to verify our company's information. After I said this, the phone made a weird noise and said so****ing along the lines of "you have been terminated from this conference call."
Calls all the time.
