We had a phone call from this phone number that was a local phone number. The only su****ious thing that stood out was that t stated Name Unavailable. I answered and the person on the other line asked for my Dad by his first name. I asked who was calling and why. So the person s****s this spiel, like hey take a breath and SEE if I am following you first. So instead of waiting & waiting & waiting and trying to politely interrupt this person I just asked my Dad if he had complaints a***nst the VA, Veteran''s Affairs. He said no, he didn't they have been wonderful to him. The guy had finally stopped his ongoing nonstop spiel & actually listened. I hated having to do that but man these people have no manners, they just go on and on. I am not even the person they should have been talking. He could have easily stated that he was calling about the VA and the did the Veteran's have any issues with with the VA not doing their job. Instead we get minutes long spiel that we couldn't & did not want to follow on. SLOW DOWN if you want people to understand. I feel for any of those with hearing issues or who have a hard time when someone talks so fast you can't keep up. Sort of like my own spiel here. I then told the man "Sorry my Dad is not interested, he has never had any issues with the local ones he goes to. If you are interested in those Veteran's that have good experiences hen he will.......Cut off because he simply ***g up.
