I placed an adverti*****t for a roommate on craigs list and I got a response as follows:Hello,     I am nicholas  wiltord and i would like to get your place for mydaughter who is coming down there to continue her educational career.I am an artist and i do carve and paint art works and we live here inflorida .My daughter just finished her course in Banking and Financewith the last Session and would like to travel down there  to secureher Master degree.She's a very nice girl and from a very good anddevoted home cuz we are a god fearing family so you don't have to beworried about her behaviour .I would like to know if the environmentis serened and secured enough for a girl of her age(24) as far****ecurity is concerned,I also would like you to get back to me with thelast asking price so that we both can further on how i can get thedeposit forwarded to you.Hope to read from you soonnicholas3863081772First, I was very suspitious when I was asked to get back to him with the last asking price.  I was very clear in my adverti*****t as to what the rent was and what the security deposit was.  Secondly I was very clear to ask that "roommate" be put in the subject line since there is so much spam and phishing on craigs list.  Feeling a little uneasy I searched out the number and found all of your comments and thought I would add mine.  Needless to say, I won't be responding!

There is also a "Duane Carter" who is using this number as well.  He stated on Craigslist in Pittsburgh PA, that he and his wife were on a honeymoon in France.  They needed a caregiver for his elderly grandmother.  Wanted to send me a check with excess funds, so that I could keep my $600.00 a week salary and the rest would go to his "travel agent", who is to move his grandmother to Pittsburgh.  Have been going along with this and asking many questions, none which are ever answered. He has a "Yahoo" email adress as well!!!  I am thinking that this might be the same person.

San Antonio, Texas. A Micheal Taylor moving from Dayton Ohio, needed personal information to pay me to paint an apartment in San Antonio, Texas. Where he and his family were about to move to. And wanted me to paint it before they moved in. Received numerous e-mail letters from a Jaime Sauberan. I continued to communicate with  Jaime by e-mail. I never spoke to anyone. Even though I gave them my phone number, I never received any calls from anybody. A Tammra Attebery from Edmond, Oklahoma was also mentioned.

person in flordia says hes moving to california and needs some work done but need my info to mail check to complete work, called the address to see if they heard of this Michael Taylor and none on record, person is using this phone # to run scam.
